I tried it as a file signature. Is it too big for that?

Just take the picture, squish it down to 100x100 in MS Paint or something, and upload it

I keep looking at the title of this thread and wondering what December Kemba will look like this year.

Not going to lie, I'm a bit down on Kemba right now, but I am looking forward to December. :D
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

I assume he is only ranking starters. Several high quality backups better than guys on that list (ie Lin, Collison, Schroeder)

Hard to argue much from that list.

I'd order them this way:

1) Curry
2) Westbrook
3) Paul
4) Wall
5) Lillard
6) Irving
7) Conley
8) Dragic
9) Lowry
10) Bledsoe
11) Teague
12) Lawson
13) Walker
14) Holiday
15) Hill
16) Jackson
17) Parker
18) Rose
19) Rondo
20) Rubio
21) Williams
22) Russell
23) Smart
24) Jack
25) Calderon
26) Carter-Williams
27) Payton
28) Mudiay
29) Canaan
30) Neto

In terms of backups, Lin, Augustin, Collison, Schroder, Jennings, and Mills would crack the top 25 if they started somewhere.

He's the last ranked starter in his prime years. The guys behind him are either getting better, on the downside, never was, or never healthy. Several of the younger players will surpass him by the end of the year if not sooner and are being paid a lot less. Good backups aren't even included.

I'm not convinced he's even in his prime yet, but if so he's just entering it and he must have like a five or six year prime window. There are guys that are older ahead of him and guys that are in their prime behind him (Reggie Jackson, Derrick Rose, Rondo).

This seems like an odd criticism to me.

Not a criticism of him necessarily. If anything a front office that stuck with a starting pg too long who hasn't gotten measurably better since his second year. At 25 and his 5th year he should be in his prime already but he's stagnated and I'm not convinced there's more.

Most team pg situations are in 1 of 3 camps: a top tier or 1/3 pg, a useful vet on a cheap contract, or a precocious young player on rookie contract. Charlotte is kind of stuck and in none of those camps. At least it's not D Rose.

Hornets vets:

What were the conditions that allowed Kemba to thrive in December 14 and January 15? Al being out is one factor.

Jefferson played up until dec 31 then was out a little over 2 weeks.

Walker just made shots during that stretch.

Thriving is relative. Walker's best TS% full months (10+ games) of his career were December 2013 and January 2014 where he average around 55.75%. Last year 47 players averaged that for a full year. Other than that he's only had 3 months over 53.5% which was team median last year.

As crummy as the Hornets have been since he was drafted the team full year TS% has never been better with him on the court. So far the trend continues this year with Hornets at 57.5% Kemba off court (2nd in league) and 51.4% Kemba on court.

@HornetsPR
Entering tonight's game vs. DAL, @KembaWalker is tied for 4th with current Mavericks G RAYMOND FELTON on CHA all-time 3PT FGM list (w/ 375). One more 3PT FG for the @hornets starting PG and @KembaWalker will be alone in 4th behind Dell Curry, Glen Rice and David Wesley. #CHAvsDAL

Boy, that's depressing.

lol tells you how much sustained success this franchise has had.

Kemba is only 40% of the way to the top. He'll need another 4-5 years to over-take Dell.

Yeah, It's depressing because we went 10 years as the Bobcats without any real shooters.

Who can we name for the Bobcats?

Matt Carroll
Jason Kapono
Kareem Rush ;)

The old Hornets always had shooters.

Dell Curry
Hersey Hawkins
Glen Rice
Eddie Jones

I also loved the fact that they kept picking up shooters at the tail end of their careers. They may not have played many games but it was definitely a priority.

Jason Richardson was a three-point god during his time here. Even by today's standards, J-Rich shot a ton of threes the one full season he had here.

Don't look now, but Kemba's stats through six games - 17.3 ppg, 44.9% FG, 38.1% 3PT, 86.2% FT, 5.3 ast, 1.5 to in 31 mpg

Rocking a very nice 56.7% TS%

Don't forget the rifleman. Chuck Person shot 157 3s in 50 games for us that year.

Shooting 53/50/83, with 17.8ppg, 5.5apg, 2tpg in 29mpg through our four November games as well.

I think his season averages will be on an uptick, and the FG% will stick around 42-44% for the season. I think that's very reasonable.
