i dont work out, like ever, so I am clueless about this stuff. What is he doing wrong? Is it because he straightens his knees all the way? I assume you are never supposed to straighten them all he way out.

not a gif, because I'd rather not watch it again, but someone linked it in the reddit thread talking about Mirotic: https://www.reddit.com/r/nba/comments/461a5x/nikola_mirotic_working_out_his_legs_practically/

Is Detroit going to move Harris or Morris to the 4 spot? Jackson, KCP, Harris, Morris, Andre? That seems like a pretty damn good starting lineup imo. If they had any depth at all I would be scared of that team.

AND he was competing with a Lithuanian (Arturas Karnisovas) for the spot.

can't say I expected that either.

The very same. He was traded here, never played a game, got waived, and then retired.

I so want to see a Kevin Love trade so that I don't have to hear his name in trade talks again, and for his own sake too...

For the sake of the rest of the East, I kind of want him to stay in Cleveland. I think his and Kyrie's defense drag them down.

the moment Lin iso'd on Love and Kyrie helped below, and Lin hit the bank shot, I knew Cleveland will not win the championship when these two share the court, you can somewhat hide one, can't hide both on defense...

Harris mostly. I think Tobes will be used the same way SVG used Turkoglu/Rashard Lewis back in the Magic days. They can throw out a potentially scary small-ball lineup of RJ, Stanley Johnson (who is really coming along lately), Morris, Harris and whatever. Lots of forwards to mismatch teams to death with now. They still need serious backup PG help (again) and Ersan's defense will be missed (not that he provided a lot of it, but still) unless Drummond discovers an interest in protecting the rim.

In summary: Their already stout starting 5 has become that much more formidable but their crappy bench is just as crappy and maybe more shallow than before.

With the addition of D-Mo and Thornton, the bench is much better now. I really like what the Pistons have done recently. D-Mo could be a real steal if he stays healthy. I always thought he would be a great fit for the Hornets. A 7 footer who is a low post threat, can shoot the 3 and hustles on D. He isn't a good rebounder for his size but doesn't matter when you have Drummond.

Pistons look like they are definitely making the playoffs.

Gotta say Stan Van has been a straight hustler as a GM so far. I definitely like what he is doing.

Yeah, I love those moves. SVG has done a good job of getting SVG type players without spending much to do it. They're still a little soft but offensively they are all but guaranteed to punch their playoff ticket.

From the GB:

Celtics GM Danny Ainge says the Celtics came very close to making a big deal yesterday before the deadline. The deal was worked on for two days before the other team pulled out.

How many picks were included this time, Mr. Ainge?

Portland is housing the Warriors right now. It is still early though.

I'm still waiting for him to offer all those picks to Miami.

Boston may be in for a long night in Utah. Neto is hitting threes.
