Re: McJesus - The Josh McRoberts Thread
Meniscus CAN heal on its own if it's not too serious, in fact many play without it (though one such person was Brandon Roy, who I think had his removed so it'd stop tearing).
Sucks for him, but these injuries often accompany ACL tears, so in that case he's lucky.

Man that sucks for him, he was poised to really break out this season. Hope he gets healthy in short order.

There goes our season!
Let's trade for him now and stash him till next year, then we can return to our glory days

Re: McJesus - The Josh McRoberts Thread
I uncovered something fantastic using statmuse about McBob's season last year.
His assist to turnover ratio proportionate to his assist total last year was completely unparalleled for a big man no matter how you slice it.
333 assists, 83 turnovers, 4.01 A/TO ratio.
The second best A/TO ratio by a big man who totaled at least as many as assists as McBob was Vlade Divac (2.5 A/TO in 2003-04 to McBob's 4.1).
Matt Bonner is the only big man since 1986 to record more than McBob's 4.01 A/TO in a season, but he only logged 61 assists (18% of McBob's total) on the season.
So we let that go for Marvin Williams? Got it.

Yeah too bad we didn't resign McRoberts and told him we wouldn't match his offers.

Blame game aside McBob leaving was a big deal for the team.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

He is out for the season and has been for like two months. I don't see the point in discussing him.

No telling if he would have had a similar injury here, but yeah. It's history.

I'd trade for him right now looking forward at next season. Given all that's happened to this team this season, any playoff success we have this year is just a cherry on top. I look at McBob like a future asset that we should think about bringing back.

Not necessarily, but we are capable of being a ton better with some new pieces. I think we wait till the offseason for major changes but if we can manage to snag McBob for like Neal+Hairston+2nds or something, we've got to do it.
We're in the mix, but I really do worry about this team's hopes if Kemba really is going to be out till late March with no serviceable replacement, or if MKG and Biz miss time after the all-star break, or if Lance continues to search for his shot, or if Al doesn't come up with a superhuman March, or... do I really need to continue?
