I'm really fine with Ball, Wiseman or the Euro as those seem to be the top 4. Edwards seems like a good fit with both the GSW and Wolves, so I'd be shocked if he was still there at 3.

I think if we are more enamored with the Halliburton, Toppin, Hayes tier we should trade down to the 6 range and take who is left.

Haliburton is much more of a sure thing than Ball or Wiseman. The Warriors have to consider team chemistry and other factors a lot more carefully than other teams drafting in the lottery as well.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

I'm confident that the Wolves are going to pick Ball or Edwards at 1, but I have no clue what the Warriors will do if Ball goes number one.

Yesterday, I was thinking that they'd pick Edwards and trade down with Atlanta, but I came across some off the court stuff that said Edwards really needs to get away from the people surrounding him in Georgia. That leaves no team that I could see giving up good value to move up for him. And in that scenario I don't think the Warriors would want to risk being stuck with him, so I think they would prefer to pivot to Avdija or Haliburton.

But again, other than Ball, I don't see teams clamoring to move up for guys in this draft. Therefore, I think the Warriors might decide to buck convention and take Haliburton or Avdija at 2 given their seamless roster fits. Which will make all the teams picking after them scramble to figure out what to do.

Bottom line the Warriors are the wild card in this draft. As Vandy said above their considerations are significantly different than other teams picking in the high lottery. However, one thing I'm confident with regards to them is that they won't pick Wiseman. They haven't valued the center position since Draymond's emergence and I don't see that changing while they try to maximize the last few years of Curry and Klay.

I'm not confident about much with this draft. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Ball and/or Edwards fall out of the top 3 or even top 5. The alleged high upside guys in this class have lots of red flags and don't really seem to have THAT much upside to me.

They needed Bogut and haven't had a center worth playing since - that's not really indicative of 'valuing' the position. Its doing the most with what they've had.

Either way - why on Earth would GS keep this pick? No guard in this draft is good enough to keep up with them and every team that wants to keep Wiseman or <whatever random smokescreen is hot at the time> from us will eat bad contracts to do it.

Shocked there's no Cole Anthony thread

Once combine hits and the team workouts start, I expect him to shoot past Hayes and Haliburton. Could easily threaten Edwards and Ball too.

I don't think that there are going to be individual team workouts this year. I'm speculating, but it wouldn't shock me to see multi-team workouts like Noah and some others have done in the past. It's part of what makes this draft such an oddball.

Kupchak straight up said there would be no on site workouts this year. Which stinks as he is good at them.

Who do y'all like at 32? It depends on who's there of course, but they will be some decent options available. Desmond Bane, Devon Dotson, Xavier Tillman (changed his mind about the draft), Vernon Carey, Paul Reed, and Cassius Stanley could all be good options.

How much do you think what we do with #3 will influence what we do with #32?

Eg: If we go big at #3 do we go wing at #32?

I like Nnaji and Carey if we are looking at bigs. If Jalen Smith happened to fall I’d be all over him as well.

Jalen Smith would be a really good get that late, he is a poor mans Jaren Jackson Jr.

I like Nic Richards from Kentucky too, one of most improved bigs in country- reminds me of Jarrett Allen.

Azuibuike from Kansas is a better Biz, I would look hard at him for 32 as well.

The big depth at the top of the 2nd looks pretty good, I wouldn't be that surprised if Mitch double dips.
