Saw them in Asheville a couple weeks ago, really like them but am not a mega fan

Try Nonagon Infinity and let me know what you think, cool rock album where every track segues into the next one (including the last track back into the first if you listen on a loop)

That's the one I listened to. I had seen a Reddit thread that recommended this is the album to start with.

ESPN just laid off the one person in their entire organization that actually watches the Hornets and gives two s****. Zach Lowe has been fired

I don't understand how they could possibly fire Lowe, he's the best content guy they have going. Losing Woj then firing Zach Lowe feels like a terrible situation for them.

Would be wild for him to go back to Simmons and join the Ringer.

ESPN doesn't want content, they want loudmouth clickbait hacks that attract eyeballs

That and they don't seriously cover the NBA outside of the Lakers, LeBron and a few other teams. Everything else is NFL.

So it probably didn't make sense for them to pay Lowe, who I assume is pretty expensive, when they don't value what he does.

Hornets curse strikes again.

Also I'd be remiss to give up an opportunity to say **** Bill Simmons

hope all you guys in the mountains/foothills are ok - lp, snidely, coolio, jdr - anyone else?
just insane seeing the devastation. my nephew was at app. had some flooding in his place and he's not even near a floodplain or creek, just surface runoff. he took 421 home yesterday. can imagine app having classes anytime soon, unless its remote. 1000s of displaced students. flooding in boone has always been an issue, but this is next level.
asheville flooding is crazy. lake lure and chimney rock basically gone.

multiple Hornets started their pressers today talking about the devastation in western NC. They know how real it is. Roads washed out, people trapped with no food or water and no way out. Glad our guys helped keep the perspective where it should be.

Hey all, i’m okay. Still no power or water, had no service until yesterday…, several huge trees just narrowly missed our house and cars, we got super lucky. Area looks like something out of the Walking Dead. It’s insane. Also so creepy with how dark and quiet it is with no power.

Down south has it worse. I’m worried about Liver Pooty. Has he logged or checked in?

I sent my wife and kids to live with family in Charlotte. There isn’t going to be school for a while. I don’t see how. i mean entire side roads are gone. 321 is fine. You can’t even get to Banner Elk right now

glad you're ok, coolio. i just can't believe the videos. damn near every side road in a valley is closed. googles maps in asheville/brevard area is just 100s of red circles
hope they can get your water on soon.

I'm sorry to hear about all the devastation. I don't think we appreciate how lucky we are in England. Be safe all and I hope everything gets better soon.

Mom lives out near Kings Mountain and that whole region got **** down hard. Their RV campsite up on Lake James got it even worse with 10ft+ water level rise.

We just moved from living in Florida for about 10 years, so was kinda used to seeing hurricanes come through and play games but the Appalachians couldn't possibly have been ready for this sort of thing. It's going to be a long time before things get working again

I'm okay. No power water or cell service. Trying to catch up on everything.

My family and I are safe. Trees dropped like bombs all around us never seen or heard anything like it. Total blackout zone was spooky as heck no power water cell. We are out made it to Charlotte yesterday. Thanks for thinking of us.

Crazy the stories I have heard on this storm. They say Asheville isn't even the worst hit and that's saying a lot because Asheville looked pretty bad.

Praying for your family and others involved.
