Looks like Cleveland will need a third team to complete the Love deal. What do you think about this deal? It works with trade checker.

Cha gets: Kevin Martin, Chase Budinger
Minny gets: Waiters, T. Thompson, Bennett, Hendo, Protected Cleveland 1st, Charlotte 2nd
Cleveland gets: Zeller, Love

That definitely increases our scoring punch and gives us a deep second unit.

I am not a Zeller fan but this is garbage for him. I was willing to give him up in a sign and trade for a good player but not for such a weak return.

I just think Zeller is kind of redundant now that we have Vonleh. Since we signed Marvin, I would rather just focus on developing Vonleh and move Zeller for a perimeter scorer. Kevin Martin only makes 7 million for 3 years, which is pretty good for a guy who put up 19 a game last year and shot almost 40% from 3. Our biggest need is perimeter shooting and scoring, which is what we get with Martin

That's a garbage trade for us to send out Henderson, Zeller, and a 2nd rounder for Kevin Martin & Chase Budinger. At least give us Dion Waiters and maybe I'll consider it

You don't trade a young piece like that for an over the hill SG who can't defend a chair. He doesn't help with ball movement and isn't a good defender making him nothing but a spot up shooter. If we were getting Waiters in this deal I am ok with it but not for Martin.

They should just trade Zeller for an overrated vet whose contract ends in 2 years. I don't even think the FO thinks they can do anything with their current starting center as their best player; just trying to be respectable and sell some tickets before they throw big money at FAs in 2016.

Yeah they are and Minnesota stopped talking to them unless they stop lowballing them. We could take out Martin and your choice of Neal or Henderson. Minnesota wants to move Martin with him since they plan on rebuilding if they trade Love they don't want Martin to be stuck and wasting his talent on a rebuilding team rather then helping you guys be the 2nd best team in the east.

We have no interest in Love because he'd never re-sign here and I wouldn't want him to re-sign here. Definition of empty stats. You can't win jack with him as your best player unless you've got a great, great core of second tier studs behind him.
