Not a bad deal for either side. Hope he doesn’t regress.

Don't think there's any reason to worry about that considering he's basically been the exact same player throughout his career

A lot of talk about versatility and PJ being able to play multiple roles in the presser. PJ off the bench is going to be a thing sooner rather than later. It just makes no sense to try and start both our guys who are best fits to play PF.

PJ showing he should keep his starting spot tonight. Let Miles come off the bench if he can stay out of trouble

That's any man's type.

(No disrespect, Mr. and Mrs. PJ.)

Been a good time watching PJ hit clutch above the break 3s, wish him the best in Dallas. Would be great to see him and Hayward face of in a playoff series.

Overall glad we signed him this summer. Worked out getting a future first rounder and another solid PF.

All the best PJ, no I have no ill feelings towards you, unlike the other low-key grifter we shipped off at the deadline.

I just wish he found the formula to more consistency but he'll be an asset in Dallas.

My closing thoughts...

I really thought we had someone special for a while there. We watched him develop into a heckuva player and he really came into his own last season. I figured, knowing our luck, we finally see someone develop into a decent player, but then we let them go in free agency. But then we resigned him! I was surprised, but very happy.

And then this season comes around.

I check the box scores after our many losses and see that he's usually one of the few players we have that regularly plays, but his production is down, even though it seems like the perfect time to shine given all the other injuries we have. Was last season just a contract-year fluke? Is it Clifford and the diminished role he seemed to have for him? I don't know, but it just didn't seem the same...

I have no ill will towards Washington and wish him the best.

Glad Mitch got him to a contender at least. Thanks for everything and good luck moving forward, PJ.
