But when you make a habit of drafting low-skill projects and they're slow to progress, you make yourself vulnerable to dependency on major transactions breaking your way. And that's rare.

I think this is the last year of Rich Cho, Steve Clifford and Al in Charlotte. After this season they are all gone and I hope MJ gives the reins to Danny Ferry to run things.

I wouldn't hire Karl, too old and stubborn i want some new blood.

I wouldn't mind Ferry, but the national headlines for MJ, a black owner hiring Ferry (racist comments) would be crazy. MJ probably wouldn't hire him just to avoid that.

I'm OK with Ferry. Horford is reasonable. I wouldn't touch Karl with a ten foot pole.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

Wouldn't be that bad. Ferry should've never been fired to begin with. Was reading line for line off a piece of paper what another scout wrote

I think it kind of the opposite effect here, I think MJ is one of the few that could hire Ferry now without a big backlash.

Exactly... And Ferry has learned from the best on how to build a team.

I don't think Karl would touch this roster with a ten foot pole after we've added so many big stiffs to the team. Cracks me up that our interpretation of the way the NBA is evolving is to add as many Spencer Hawes to the team as possible for #spacing. Like they seriously don't understand that teams are getting their spacing by moving smaller, more skilled athletes to the big positions, not just filling up your roster with big stiffs that can shoot. I can't wait to watch Hawes, Frank, and Al, chasing around big SF's and athletic small ball PF's all next season.

I want no part of George Karl. Extremely overrated coach.

So we are talking about wanting a coach who might find a way to get fired before he starts his first season with his team? Cool.

We won't fire a coach for cause why would we fire one because he doesn't get along with players?

There is no chance mj would hire a guy like that. The backlash Jordan would get from the black community would be too much.

Rightfully so. Dan Ferry is a douche bag.
