I think MKG still has a lot of potential in his offensive game. People forget that he's a very good finisher at the rim and is actually one of the best transition players in the league. As his ball handling and jumpshot improve his driving lanes will become open and he'll begin to show people why he was the #2 pick.

I think he would fit great on the Suns. Maybe they can work something out.

MKG better end up better than Bruce Bowen or he will be a pretty massive bust.

It's all about coaching and confidence with MKG. He has the desire and work effort to be great.

I also see we haven't changed the court yet. I wonder when they're planning to put that in?

It look like they're trying to get rid of that side arm effect in MKG's shot. It may not look so swell in that clip, but repetition will be his best friend in getting that shot down pact

Yeah, I remember reading Price said the main thing last year was gonna be his footwork. Now I guess they're moving on.

One thing to do it in a workout. Another to do it in an actual game.

Very encouraging to see him working on it though. Who knows what could happen in 5 months.

The hitch almost looks more like an elongated pause at the top of his jump in the last video. Doesn't seem to be shooting it as much on his descent. More like right before he starts going down. Seems like good progress.

There was a video before the season started of him shooting like this as well, but when the games started that habit kicked back in, and in a hurry. Hoping that shooting like this everyday for the next 6 months can get it out of his head since I think its more habit than anything,

this is not an overnight thing....he is going to have to put a lot of time in the gym working on his jumpshot before he ever sees process in the gym

His left hand looks like it's still on top of the ball. I really don't see why this can't just be tackled all at once instead of stages, but I guess Price knows best. I seem to remember changing the way I shot 2-3 times when I was in high school/college but it didn't seem to effect my shot much. Of course I'm not a NBA baller but I could shoot pretty good.

Besides just focusing on his jumper, he needs to get in reps with floaters and one hand shots around the basket too. He can't continue to keep flailing himself into defenders around the basket when he doesn't get any respect for fouls.

Who am I to question Price as a coach? A nobody for sure, ...BUT, I have coached basketball and currently coach in business. With everything you have to start with the foundation. Hyphen is solid below, but his anchor, arm plane, timing and release are way off. I would ask him to start slowly, stand next to a wall so his arm cannot slide out, use only his shooting arm, and build a shot that does not involve his left hand. Get used to this so his arm is operating within the proper plane. Then work on timing of his release. Next step, bring his supporting hand back into the picture slowly, at the correct position. Then free him so he is keeping all elements together...slowly, then from different parts of the court. THEN you start working to make the shots go into the basket.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.
