You've normalized it. All it does is reduce opportunities to appreciate diversity in opinion.

I'm ready to talk about Salaün, thank you very much.

My stomach forms a knot when the ball is in his hands. Bad things happen.

This gut reaction I suspect is not unique to me as one of his detractors. I'm genuinely curious if posters who still like the pick ever get that reaction, like ever?

I would suspect that no one on the board specifically wanted or is thrilled with that pick.

If they did or were, I highly doubt they've bailed before the ASB of his rookie year.

I'm wondering if this stomach knot ever happens in the people who have not bailed on him. I'm well aware at least some fans have not bailed on him. But they could still have negative reactions to his play. And it must feel deflating. It does to me.

Some of you guys put a whole lot of energy and thought into Salaun than I can be bothered doing.

And down he goes. Last night was the final straw, one of the worst stretches of play I’ve ever seen in a Hornets uniform.

Best thing in the world for him. Would prefer to see him play big minutes for the Swarm and do so for the rest of the year.

Did wonders for NSJ. I thought Tiddy looked competent in his role as a 10th man hustle guy, but I'm not surprised EmpireFalls apparently saw something else.

Does anyone go to the Swarm games? Are they streaming?

long past due. i think this needed to happen the first couple weeks of the season, dude's been digging a hole for quite a while now.

i guess we'll see Okogie/Jeffries step into some micro-ball PF minutes?

Melo (36mpg)/Micic (12)
NSJ (18)/Curry(18)/Martin (12)
Green (24)/Martin (12)/Okogie (12)
Bridges (36)/Jeffries (12)
Mark (30)/Moose (18)

is that our rotation sans Miller and Salaun? cut one of DQJ or Okogie out and replace with more minutes for NSJ/Green/Martin?

I think most of his weaknesses stem from not being comfortable with the game of basketball so this is the right move. Let him soak up heavy minutes there and get the basics down. Emphasis on screening, reading the floor for proper spacing, making decisions with the ball in his hands, and hopefully rolling to the paint.

Curious what the reactions will be if he stinks it up in the G. He’s not an iso player or a good athlete so not sure he’s gonna just drop in and dominate like an NSJ or Diabate

Would love to see the same hustle with less hyperactivity.

A full writeup on the Salaün demotion. He's been begging for it with his errant, ineffectual play.

Smart move:

If he's a limited player, he's a limited player. More curious about the reaction of the front office. How long would they keep him there? Where does he start next year, Charlotte or Greensboro?

His goal should be to try to get back to Charlotte by the opener next season. If Okogie shows out, and Grant Williams returns, does Salaün even have a pathway to minutes next year outside injuries?

Also curious to see how the front office approaches the remainder of the deadline. Do they add another forward? Or did they sufficiently hedge with Okogie?

They'll probably yank him back soon with Miller out anyway. G-League should help settle him down like it did NSJ, still a prospect who only needs a few things to break his way to become a very useful player. Not worried about Tiddy at all.

He doesn't need to dominate, he needs to learn how to play within himself and the offense. Kai Jones dominated when he played in Greensboro, and he didn't learn anything while dunking all the time.

What does Blocks Against mean in this context? 233 blocks against by the two teams combined seems...high.
