doesnt make any sense to me. sure when youre 7-57 the grass can always look greener but i don't watch sports to be a depressed pessimist longing after other teams mediocre prospects while trashing our own

I'd trade Kemba and Henderson for Rubio and, no hesitation. And Gerald Henderson is one of my favorite players in the league.

Sorry KembaWalker,

But Rubio is probably a better PG than Kemba will ever be. Has elite court vision, unbelievable passing skills, good size for his position and at least an average defender. I'm not saying that Kemba sucks, just that Kemba has a ways to go before he can be in the same discussion as a floor general. I will say though, I thought Kemba was the best facilitator in the Rookie-Soph game (or whatever they're calling it now) behind Rubio. I think if you surround Kemba with players that suck less and can shoot, defend, and rebound, he'll show dramatic improvement.

I think most people on the Bobcats board don't think Kemba has no potential. We hoped for a bit more in this horribly bleak year, but we still hold hope that he can improve.

But whether he becomes a good starting point guard is still up for debate, and no one can honestly answer that he will. That's impossible, we shall see how it pans out.

so its irrelevant that Kemba has been averaging 16.5/5/6.5 per36 in the month of April because he's shooting 38% its totally meaningless and he sucks and we lose? lets just ignore his month to month improvements

it doesnt matter that his per month APG chart looks like this? nah meaningless no improvement there at all

Image

it doesnt matter that his passing numbers are more or less equal or superior to DJs and Feltons at this point despite the lack of summer league/preseason/teammates/coach..nah hes just a chucker

it doesnt matter that his PER is better or equal to any year Raymond or DJ had here...as a rookie..nah PER is a dumb meaningless stat if it says Kemba is anything but garbage

doesnt matter that this year DJ is shooting 5% lower than his career average on TS....Reggie Williams 7%....Maggette 7%...Carroll 14%...Tyrus 10% etc....this probably isnt a fluke year for Kemba is must be what he will do for his entire career...right

I could go on but whats the point it doesnt matter..Kemba sucks and he'll probably be just a Jason Terry 6th man inefficient chucker spark on a bad team forever no way he could even approach DJ Augustin levels of point godness

its one thing to say he is sucking, its another to act like you can make any significant predictions about his future or pidgeonhole him into a role so ignorantly WHILE you misunderstand his passing stats and how not-terrible they are.

its not different from saying Bismack is complete garbage right now and will forever be garbage based off this season. its stupid.

Bismack actually posted numbers greater than what most of us expected. Kemba has done really, really poorly and fails the eye test. Simple as.
KembaWalker wrote:Not saying you did but that seems to be the general consensus about Kemba everyone sitting at their keyboard getting so exciting "o look I was right he's a midget chucker like I SAID he would be career bench player he can't pass at all" blah blah extremely obnoxiously. Thats why people are going out of their way to defend him. he never had a fair chance.

bull he didn't. I was a fan of his at the start. I wanted to see a lot of DJ and Kemba in the backcourt.

You have a broad definition of nothing. Funny, that.

Stun you're near enough to mentally disabled as makes no difference. If you think my purpose is to attack people who aren't my fanbase, and that I'm a "less funny" version of yourself, then you just stated that your purpose is to attack people who aren't your fanbase. Congrats.

Read more books or something. Maybe some math ones.

DJ and Raymond Felton aren't very good PGs either. :| So if you want to look at the glass half full, you could make the case that Kemba might surpass Brevin Knight as the best PG in Bobcat's history.*

*that's how pathetic our luck has been with PGs.

Yeah we were so good when we had Brevin Knight I wish we could bring that era back man good times. lol he was a more efficient and better version of Ricky and you see how much he mattered to anything. totally irrelevant

the only guy I want off the Wolves is the one that gets 26/14 every friggin night...thats something we could actually use

Kemba has never been a particularly good facilitator. While it's nice that he's improving, he's supposed to be a scorer with swag and clutch play. He can be a mediocre facilitator all he wants but his supposed elite skill is looking like crap.
KembaWalker wrote:it doesnt matter that his PER is better or equal to any year Raymond or DJ had here...as a rookie..nah PER is a dumb meaningless stat if it says Kemba is anything but garbage

My PER is higher than Kemba's. So there.

Oh yeah, I forgot! It's the gremlins making Kemba and the rest of our team miss!
KembaWalker wrote:I could go on but whats the point it doesnt matter..Kemba sucks and he'll probably be just a Jason Terry 6th man inefficient chucker spark on a bad team forever no way he could even approach DJ Augustin levels of point godness

Jason Terry is still a valuable player on a championship team.

Ricky Rubio will be much, much better than Knight.

No, you've said those "points" so many times over the last few months that I'm slowly becoming deaf to them. We get it, Kemba sucks less as a passer now than he did at the start of the season. He's still shooting absolutely terribly, he's still running down the clock with the ball in his hands, and he's still not getting to the line enough.

Excuses have never, ever won a game.

You're right, he just sucks and he'll most likely suck and be an inefficient chucker forever. We should just re-sign DJ to a long term contract his efficiency is nuts

How wonderfully constructive of you.

I'm not making any excuses for Kemba when other, less experienced rookies are doing better. You shouldn't either.
