Well whatever happens, we need to find a way to sustain non-LaMelo mins and be a passable NBA team. Even when LaMelo is healthy, the moment he sits down the team crumbles apart and cannot function on offense because we have zero other playmakers. We're going on year 10 of not taking backup PG seriously and I'd argue they got lucky with Jeremy Lin because they signed him to a cheap one year deal coming off a series of bad seasons.

I believe Dieon Sanders had a similar issue, but don't follow football so not sure why I think that. Know a guy that had this happen as a complication from diabetes, best wishes to Lavar on a speedy recovery and only a minorly inconvenienced quality of life.

LaMelo has gone thru a lot recently. I do think the kid is mentally strong enough to deal with it, in part because it doesn’t seem like he’s much of a self-reflection type, but I hope he has a positive mindset about the whole thing.

that Lakers defense at the end was terrible, once Lamelo got past his player he had bugger all pressure.

his biggest issue was probably the glare coming of lebrons head.

Lucky Mark Williams wasnt there to block it

Could not be more proud of the kid especially knowing what he’s going through with his family.

The team looked really happy and together after that last shot. Young core bonding. Brings a tear to mine eye

Doncic is a cone.

And obese.

That looked unfair. LaMelo is mean picking on the belly.

I'd much prefer to build around skinny LaMelo than Doncic.

Loved seeing Mark bark in approval after that LaMelo make. Impressive to see Big Mark fresh off life support and playing 29 minutes without his wheel chair!

The Baxter Stockman and Shredder ones are more normalish, but yea, pretty wild. Have to have a Melo-sized personality to get away with the Krang ones.

Find it hard to blame LaMelo for the margin of loss, but there is a concerning amount of “quit” that exists in him that is getting harder to ignore.

Of course easy for us to say from the couch, he’s getting triple teamed and mauled on the perimeter.

He's not wrong

And this is what happens when you're this far into your star player's career and nobody cares about winning games.

Whole team is rotten, and fans are so used to it that the team just put up the WORST three games in history and most folks are going "eh shrug, moving on"
