Seems like they had an agreement and the team has failed to be competitive. Now Giannis wants out to his preferred destination.

He wants to be a Knick but they have no picks. Probably be KAT and a couple others for him.

Maybe they can make it a 3 team deal and turn Kat into some picks?
I would be totally interested in KAT, but our lottery pick this year is off limits. They can have our Dal pick.
Thoughts on Bridges/Sexton/Dal pick to Milwaukee, Giannis to NY, and we get Kat?

**** I’d be elated with that.

Hold on we getting KAT not Giannis.
I think 2 picks is more than enough for KAT. Milwaukee is not getting much for Giannis. The goal for them would be flipping KAT to a team with good picks.
Milwaukee has no leverage. It's been reported they will work out a deal with whoever Giannis wants to play for.yosemiteben wrote:JustBuzzin wrote:yosemiteben wrote:That is not remotely close to what it'll take to get Giannis or KAT

For that trade to work, MIL has to be happy with that return for Giannis. No way would they be. If that's all we're offering, they should just take KAT themselves.
Go ask the trade board, there's no chance that gets it done.

I'm not saying this is the best deal they could get. Im just throwing out a offer from us for KAT. Maybe they can find better from a 3rd team.

MIL is trading a top 5 player in the league. They aren't going to do it and accept a subpar offer so we can get KAT. That is awful value.

That's fair, but to think they will get a crazy offer for Giannis is crazy.
Giannis controls his destiny and whatever team he joins he knows whatever Milwaukee gets back is going to hurt his future team.
Milwaukee is not going to get a crazy offer for Giannis. I repeat Milwaukee is not going to get a crazy offer for Giannis.
