assuming wallace plays a few minutes in all of our last 4 games he will need to grab 22 more rebounds over the last 4 games to keep his average at 10.0. he has 748 now and needs 770 for 10.0 rpg.
i would had to see him finish at 9.9.
come on gerald.

Isn't 9.9 considered 10 rpg? It's closer to 10 than it is 9.

It'll be listed as 9.9, unless it's 9.95 or higher.

Nets (crap team) and Bulls (team fighting to be a playoff team/practice squad for Cavs), its VERY doable. The Bobcats won't want to lose against the Nets this close to the playoffs. Not to mention that the Bobcats can very realistically get into a 3 way tie with Miami and Milwaukee.

Looks like he'll need to get all 10 against the Bulls.

assuming he plays against the Bulls, he'll wind up with about 10 a game even if he somehow gets 0. He has something like 761 or 762 after 75 games.

yup. its official. crash is a double double guy. sitting out tonight guaranteed his 10.0 (or more) average. not quite as awesome as pulling down 30 boards in the last game of the year to clinch, but i'll take it.
congrats to wallace.

I feel like this has really been underrated in the national media... this is a small forward who spent his whole career as a sub-8 rebounder, leaping up to 10 and the top 10 in the league in per-game boarding.
I completely did not believe that his early start could be kept up, and I was quite wrong. A really crazy achievement and one of the biggest reasons that we were the #1 defense in the league this season.

and he didn't do it on a stat-padding team like the Warriors or Knicks, in fact he did it on one of the slowest teams in the league. The guy reminds me of Rodman, you can just see the fire in his eyes fighting for rebounds.

Why are some Magic fans claiming to be the #1 defensive team in the league?

Fats - you should post a thread on the General Board about this. It's pretty freaking amazing.
When was the last time a non PF/C had a 10rpg season? I'm guessing it was Matrix back when he was playing with the Suns?

Orlando is currently first in Defensive Efficiency -- better than us by .1 -- so that's probably why. I still think we're the better defense when we have all of our guns.

That's great for him, really amazed he could keep up with this great rebounding throughout the whole season, good job Crash.
