LB wanted to sign Iverson...Jordan denied him

Interesting. And looking back at the season, since I wanted to sign Iverson...I think Jordan made the right choice.

Iverson would have been a disaster, and would probably have prohibited the Jack trade.

Nice palming by Iverson there. Should have been a turn over.

And MJ is genius for nixing Brown. Who knows what sort of spiral signing Iverson might have sent us on or the damage he might have done while here.

Thank GOD MJ has his head on straight.

Yes, because Iverson had such a fantastic season and was nothing but an asset to both teams he played for. :roll:

I have always liked Iverson. But clearly MJ made the right decision here. Iverson has some issues he must deal with and I dont see how he would be able to help us at this point even if he were on the team. Glad MJ did what he did, and I just hope the best for Iverson as he deals with the issues he faces.

Where does it say Brown wanted to sign Iverson? All it says is Brown had "interest" then it was briefly discussed and shot down. Never to be talked about again. Makes for a nice headline though.

thats what a good front office does... coach, gm and owner gets together discuss players, weight pros and cons, then the big boss makes the final decision.

for all the crap we've dished about our FO, you have to say, this year they got it all right.

AI wouldve been great with Jax and Crash.
All put their body and mind on the line every single nite.
Especially with the way Cats are playing with the point guards not creating for anyone.
AI would have been a great fit
