Playoff GT the 4th-8PM: Let Us Not Be the Grizzlies

Okay fellas, here it is. Is this the final game of the season or can the Cats pull out a victory in this must-win game? Jax, Wallace, Felton, LB and the vets are prideful people. We've played so great at home all season, are we really going to get swept out of our first ever playoff series, inevitably leading to comments from Raptor fans that we didn't deserve to be here to begin with?
HELL NO. Man up, Cats. In a "what have you done for me lately" sports world, this is the biggest game of your careers. SHOW UP.
We know the matchups. We know how the season series went, we know how the playoff series has gone. I'm posting season Hollinger stats, Playoff Hollinger stats, doing brief analysis and then getting on to what's powered us to victory in most of my GTs.

Orlando (1)Brief AnalysisWe're keeping the pace in our favor, but the turnovers (as they have all season) are killing us. We need to make a solid effort to clean the defensive glass and of course I'd like us to stay out on the shooters at the expense of leaving Dwight in single coverage.

I'm Begging from the bottom of my heart not to be the Grizzlies!! Although I want to win the series, but one game would be SO satisfying! I can accept going fishing, but No broom. I repeat. NO BROOM!!!

Today is a win-win even if we lose. The quicker this season ends, the quicker we can give Felton the boot. I'd play DJ 30 plus minutes tonight just to see if he's worthy of a backup role next season.

I don't think 15 extra minutes in a playoff game is going to definitively answer that question for us.
They're a better team than we are. But at home, it's about a 50/50, so hopefully the coin comes up heads tonight.

I know it won't, but if DJ shows he can lead us to a playoff win, at least he has something positive on his resume come this summer. We need him to play a lot and play well tonight, ups his standing here and it ups his trade value.
And yes, they are a better team, but it can't hurt to dream what it would be like if we actually had a difference maker at the point. If anything, we would at the very least given the Magic a more competitive series. As it stands now, we're throwing away the efforts of Jax and Crash because we don't have a solid leader at the point. When you don't have a superstar on your team, you better have a damn good point guard if you expect to win in the playoffs.
Raymond is done in Charlotte.

I have a feeling Howard is going to go for something crazy like 40 and 40 tonight.

"Win-win?" Do you hate Felton that much that you would want to lose to see him gone? Wow. Honestly, I really don't think we want to see a Felton-less BobCats team. We are not going to get a big name PG and DJ (as of now) is NOT the answer. His confidence is to shaky!

Nothing raises a young pgs confidence like getting rid of his competition... worked during the Felton/Brevin Knight situation.

We don't yet what DJ could provide to this team if he's getting the starter job. But we do know that we aren't going anywhere with Felton as our point guard and leader. 5 years have been enough. Time for a change.
