AUS's 2010 Bobcats War Room - Results/Info

So... we don't have a draft pick. Not one. But you don't let traditions die because of slight technicalities. August Us Seazr's Bobcats' War Room is something that must continue! Most of us have been here before, but for the newbies, I'll let the legend himself explain in his own words:

August Us Seazr wrote:Let me explain the War Room to the newcomers since last year. We take the first 30 picks in the draft and arrange, by our voting, our own draft board for the upcoming draft. We do it one pick at the time for five days during the week. I tend to leave Fridays and Saturdays alone because we all need time to recharge (and research). Last year we decided NOT to do a second round. We'll hold to that for now unless popular demand says otherwise.

Each night, a new poll will appear. We will have 9 choices from the top remaining candidates from major Mock Drafts, and a "Write-In" choice (the W_Hamilton honorary "I don't like any of these options" slot). Choose whichever player that you think the Bobcats MUST have if we are drafting at that position. We do ask that if you write-in a choice that you identify that player for the rest of us. Think of it as trying to convince us that your write-in is worthy at this spot.

I don't have AUS's high tech database of potential picks from draft a slew of sites, so don't be afraid to use the "I don't like any of these options" to start the movement for the player you like. Your voice will be heard! Maybe.

August Us Seazr wrote:Good luck, guys, get us what we need!

Thought it might be cool to list all of the voting threads so things are easier to find if anyone ever cares to see who was saying what way back when:

I wonder where Augustus has been. I know he had some health problems, so I hope all is alright.

Hey guys! Still alive and kicking, just not kicking very high. Still recovering from the stroke I had back on Labor Day. It got a lot of my memory and right side peripheral vision. But I'm still looking in on you guys even though I'm not posting anywhere near as much as I'd like. It's good to be missed, and I thank you for that!

I also want to say a special word of thanks to Walt for filling the void while I'm taking it slower. You are doing a fantastic job, man! Keep it up! I'll try to get back to this as soon as I can.

August

Thanks Aus, been doing what I can. Your concept was left a nice blueprint to follow, but gigantic shoes to fill. Glad to have you back!
