If anybody is too lazy to read, the gist is: Donaghy claims he told his bettors to bet on Charlotte and they lost. In reality the guy literally made not a single call favoring Charlotte in that game, 17 -0 in favor of Minnesota. So what probably actually happened is; he told them to bet on Minnesota and then helped the T-Wolves win.

How do you go a whole game and not make a single call favoring a certain team? The evidence seems pretty strong to me...

interesting....

heres the boxscore
http://www.basketball-reference.com/box ... 10CHA.html

twolves shot 27 fts, charlotte shot 11.
twolves had 16 fouls, charlotte had 28

ammo actually had a decent game, it seems, 18pts, 5 boards, 6 assists
primoz fouled out in 12 mins
felton, voskhul and carroll had 5 fouls each

matt carroll was HOT. i guess timmy didnt count on that.

i love donaghy... he is putting the NBA refs under a media microscope. officiating can only improve and become more transparent as a result. IF refs were fixing games, they will think twice about it now, knowing everyone is suspicious. IF the NBA had a secret agenda to influence outcomes for various reasons, they will think twice about it now for fear of more refs talking. it would only take one credible ref to come out and admit this was happening to create a media frenzy. remember 10 years ago when everyone though jose canseco was a money hungry, book promoting, nut job? well, he was, BUT he was also mostly right. im just sayin'

you understand that shooting 50% without any threes or free throws gets you a 1.0 pps right?

you understand that if a guy shoots 5-10 but hist 5-10 free throws his socred 15 pts in 10 shots but he cost his team around 2-4 points for being a bad free throw shooter right? but he's got a great pps!!! oh yeah he was "aggressive" and got to the foul line. shaq says hi.

uhh... what?

I think taking 19 shots and scoring only 22 points isn't good. We have a lot of players that do this... this is why we suck.

Hey, his TS% was over 57 percent.

And I agree with fatlever. Keep it coming.

I'll be honest and admit that I only looked at points and shots. Not felton's fault if he can't get to the stripe.

Under the right system, Matt Carroll can be very, very good.
