It's Arenas. You guys know it is. "Something big" is always a little worse for us than expected. There aren't any elite bigs left, so we're going after an elite pg. Would be so happy if it was Paul, though.

Join NYK in a few years or join Charlotte this year? Yes, it's crazy, but the idea of waiting a few years to play together is New York in crazy too.

If Denver fears losing Melo for nothing, I think they would bite on Wallace + Nazr + 2 first round picks for 'Melo. Hendo and/or Brown could be thrown in if necessary.

Trade Dampier to New Orleans for Paul outright. To convince NO to do this, we do a second trade with NO: Diop + Diaw for Okafor and Posey.

Forget big, that would be epic. And, it's surprisingly possible if Melo tells Denver that he doesn't plan to resign. Who thought that LeBron, Wade, and Bosh would join Miami? Exactly.

Paul / Jackson / Anthony / Thomas / Okafor

If that was the case though why wouldn't the Hornets have already contacted the Mavs when they had Dampier - or Toronto now they have that massive TPE or the Cavs with their massive TPE or the Nets with their cap room or the Clippers with their cap room?

What would make trading with us so special - especially when we couldn't take Okafor (not that I would want him back) or Posey off their hands at the same time?

Arenas is perfect for this Bobcats team. As long as they don't give up Wallace..

Gilbert does make sense for Charlotte. But I wish they had someone at Center to throw into the deal also, as I dont like Nazr and Diop being it. Blatche plays the PF position right? At least that is how he is listed on the charts.

The skill set of Blatche sure would be a nice pairing with the skill set of T2.

Pity Blatche is such a meat head though.

I think we hope not, would just about rather give DJ the reigns instead of giving up anything half way valuable to help Minnesota shed one of their 12 point guards

What was NOH going to give to get Dampier? And they would not have taken back Carroll or Najera. NOH wants assets back, not just a TPE for Paul and their crap.

And to make a trade with NOH, we probably would have to trade Wallace (not necessarily to them) to get more assets NOH would want.

Perfect fit???????

A chucking 2 guard masquerading as a point - CHECK
Zero leadership skills - CHECK
Had a major injury - CHECK
Horrible long term bloated cap killing contract - CHECK
Not a good teammate - CHECK
Insane - CHECK

And yeah, like we would even consider giving up Wallace for that. Unreal.

It's not even possible. Ajinca can't be trade with other players right now, right?
