... about the bobcats (this preseason)

1. Gana Diop will never be worth what they're paying him. That doesn't mean he doesn't care:

2. Whatever effort they made at building depth has been compromised.

3. Tyrus Thomas better be good...and a good guy

4. I can make all the arguments why Gerald Henderson will be good. Will he ever be?

5. Boris Diaw is an anomaly.

6. That having a mostache does not make up for baldness.

8. The "real money" spent in the off season was spent at the NBA's equivalent of Big Lots by acquiring oft-injured, defective, former lottery picks in Kwame and Livingston

I laughed.

Bonnell makes common sense points. I think #4 is the one people here need to read and finally accept that Gerald Henderson will likely be a dud. At this point, Larry Hughes is better, Flip Murray is better, and even Stephen Graham is better. I'm tempted to say that Carroll is better but he's been equally ineffective this year. If Jax is injured, we're screwed at that position.

The angry, balding old man at work again. It's preseason, we haven't learned anything yet. At the moment, he should rather worry about hemorrhoids or erectile dysfunction than the Bobcats.
