Do we really need a game thread sign up sheet? It's not that important. Too many announcements as is in this forum. Also the hall of fame category is dumb because only mods can participate in it. Come on...tidy this place up!

The announcement section should be reserved for messages from the owner of the site or rules for this board. If Howard Maas posts something important you need to be able to see it right away. With too many announcements it can get cluttered. Look at all the team boards, they have at most 2 or 3 announcements.

And yes the Hall of Fame thread is dumb because we cannot participate in it, so it serves no purpose other than you telling us which posts YOU enjoyed.
