http://www.nba.com/dleague/draft_2010.html - Matt Rogers, from our TC roster, was picked fourth by the Texas Legends.
- Another Bobcat, Alan Anderson, was picked second by the New Mexico Thunderbirds.
- Our affiliate, Maine, picked Magnum Rolle who we discussed on this forum.
- Former Bobcat pick Robert Vaden was picked seventh by the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.
- For Swedd and I, former USC player Dominique Archie was picked 14th by the Austin Toros.
- Another USC alum, Brandon Wallace, was picked 2rd-5th by Bakersfield.
Looks like we decided to not use that new D-League rule about released TC players playing for the affiliate. Which reminds me, we need our own D-League team MJ. Carolina Flight, make it happen.

Holy crap, how did I miss that. Texas picked him up too. Looks like they're stockpiling on players with NBA experience.

35 seems to old to be in the D-League. I thought there was an age limit in place. You have 868 games of NBA experience, going up against guy who haven't played much (or at all) in the NBA. It just seems wrong. Salim Stoudmire, i can understand. Daniels, its just wrong. Whos next? Derek Fisher?
Suprised to see Nick Fazekas still going. Nice to see Chieck Samb still trying. Walter Sharpe, what was Joe Dumars thinking?

I think older guys can play in the D-League but older guys can't be demoted from an NBA team. I know Keith Closs played in the D a few years ago and he's up there in age.

He was signed by Real Madrid but I think he's playing elsewhere.

I loved Almond and advocated calling him up last year. He posted a couple 50 + point games and was arguably the most prolific scorer in D-League history. He could have provided everything matt carroll does and then some at a fraction of the cost.
I think he left overseas when they offered him a multiyear deal worth a few mil

So Texas legends picked:
Matt Rogers
Antonio Daniels
Justin Dentmon
etc.
Lots of familiar names (Dentmon was rumoured to play SL for us). Add Sean Williams and Rasahd McCants from Mavs (and possibly Lexy for some time during the season) and that's pretty interesting team.
Gald to see Alan Anderson fighting for another chance, he was among top FAs in Europe on draftexpress.
And not just Magnum Rolle, Tiny Gallon is a Red Claw (via Boston) another well discussed name on this board.
