Should have been done at the very first game. Of all rookies for Larry Brown to ACTUALLY PLAY in their rookie season, it was Sherron **** Collins.
UPS should have been sent too. He's not going to grab minutes right now with McGuire doing his thing.

Yeah, rookies are bad! The NBA shouldn't allow rookies in anymore! And I'd wager he's about as fast as your average 2 guard and definitely fast enough to keep up with a 3 string PG. And midget? He's not even that short...

We should send him down and bring Pittman back up but not tell anyone.

You know what? I was just thinking something.
The day teams can start trading freshly signed players is next Wed (Dec 15th). Insteresting that we've hung on to Tank in the big show all this time and now all of a sudden we send him to the D.
Wonder if it's more a thing to show other teams he can play in an attempt to give him some (any) trade value once the 15th rolls around?

He didn't even have 3 minutes a game. You're acting like he's out there all the time, and ruining the game for everyone. The guy is just inexperienced and not extremely talented to begin with. With experience he'll do better.

3 minutes of collins in the game feels like 20.

Battery would say that his ceiling is pretty much DJ on a bad day.

The messed up thing about Sherron Collins is that a) he has extreme physical talent, b) he's got good range, c) he is not a bad on ball defender when he makes up his mind to do it, d) his handles are excellent.
As a point guard, he has no talent in terms of picking which plays to call. He has no talent in making his team mates better. On top of that, he's now fat, which robbed him of his foot speed. He was at one point, the only person in college ball to slow down Derrick Rose. He was also reasons 1-5 that they got knocked out in the tournament of his senior year.
That kid could've been okay in the NBA as a spot player or blossom into an Eddie House kind of player, but it doesn't look like it's going to happen now.

Or we could be giving him playing time in the D league to get him ready to assume the backup point guard spot once we ship off DJ.

Wouldn't Livingston be the backup?

Livingston can't play with himself, let alone for a team. To think we could have had Acie Law back for the minimum; would have been the same level of player.

Anyone else see his stats from his 1st game?
5 pts, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, 4 turn overs.
2-11 from the floor (1-5 from 3)
In 23 mins of magic.
