The question is, do we lose by 30 or not.

I just Googled "cranky old bastard who's best coaching years are well past him and who checked out over the summer and shouldn't have come into the season as head coach" and these are what came up.

You guys look like a bunch of amateurs when you blame Larry Brown and you also make our fan base look incredibly dumb with your misdirected hate. Just because a bunch of 12 year olds at realgm think Larry sucks at coaching and the Knicks fans who blame him for not being able to turn Stephon Marbury into a winner, does not mean LB is too blame here. We won 44 games last season then the roster got worse this summer. We have DJ Augustin as the starting point guard, Boris Diaw at the PF, 80 year old Nazr at center, a disinterested Gerald Wallace who misses Raymond, and S-Jax who's a roller coaster. Then we have a bench of misfits who never seem to play well as a group, but have lots of really good individual performances...just not in the same game.

Also, everyone here wants us to blow it up, but if it was all LB's fault as you claim, then why not just get a new coach and keep the players?? You guys are walking contradictions.

I'm not butt hurt. Maybe you are just having fun, but some of our fans really do believe it's all LB's fault. And it's not that i'm a huge LB fan, I've said I want to go in a different direction, but when we sit here and blame LB it shines the light away from the pathetic performances of the players. They need to be held accountable.

I don't think anyone here believes that we'd have a much better record without LB, but that doesn't mean that he's not at fault either.

It's a miracle we've won 8 games this season and we actually have a better record than 13 teams. The only game we were completely out of right from the start to the finish was opening day against Dallas. And I'd say LB is doing an admirable job considering all of the dreck on the roster. Hard to coach when you have players who don't want to be coached. We need to weed out these stiffs whether LB is here or not. Hopefully major changes to this roster are coming soon.

yet its basically LBs roster. so maybe its not LB the coach who is at fault, its LB the talent evaluator, the guy who cries and whines and complains about the roster to the gm until the gm agrees to overhaul the roster with guys LB wants.

dj - lb convinced the front office to select him over lopez
diop - lb wanted more bigs and wanted to get rid of carroll
mcguire - lb saw him on tv and loved him and had to have him
diaw - lb didnt like jrich
jax - lb wasnt happy with raja
tyrus - the guy who larry said "if tyrus doesnt improve then its on me"

these are larry's players, at least the best we could give him based on our assets.

Destroyed Matt Carrolls career. Matt used to be a great guy coming of the bench. His contract is long but not bad... when he signed it, i thought it was a great deal for the bobcats. Its a shame to see Carroll like this.

But Larry Brown is not the GM.

I don't like DJ or Lopez.
Carroll is terrible, but can't blame LB for who we acquired, our GM should have known Diop was equally as bad
McGuire - I've never heard that story and if true, so what? Again, he's not the GM.
Diaw - Losing JRich was no big loss. We made the playoffs with Diaw but stunk with JRich
Jax - Good move, we made the playoffs. Raja was hurt, I doubt he was unhappy with him and would have loved to have kept him
Tyrus- According to everyone here, Tyrus is playing awesome so where's the beef? Oh you say LB needs to play him more....well now we find out he's hurt! Doh! Everyone should apologize to LB for getting on his case about TT.

Matt was a great guy coming off the bench when expectations were low.
