Gold - Nazr
Silver - Kwame
Bronze - Najera (why not, I don't think he's had a nomination this year).

When Semih Erden dominates you, it's time to bring out the razor blades.

How does Gerald let Kwame Brown get a hammer in such a big game in front of a huge crowd in our own arena. Tomorrow could possibly be the final time Gerald Wallace suits up for the Cats and I don't think any fans would be sad to see him go, including Michael Jordan at this point.

i was really getting upset watching wallace on saturday. he just isnt playing with the same fire we've come to expect from him. its sad. mentally, he is just off. ft% is a prime example. i know he is getting frustrated by all the charges and his not being able to finish, but he has to fight through it.

i was sitting in front of these two guys who were talking loudly behind me. one was a bobcats fan and the other was a celtics fan and they must have came to the game together. anyway, the celtics fan kept going on and on about nazr.

"mohammed is heating up"
"mohammed with the game of his life"
"they are really going to mohammed"

and then he summed it up perfectly
"man, when your go-to guy is mohammed, you have problems"

and then the same guy (who was obviously also a hawks fan) made another comment and i had never realized this before

"mohammed used to play with the hawks....... and so did boris...... and so did jackson..... man, why are the bobcats trying to buy up all these old hawks cast offs?"

i knew they all played for the hawks, but i didnt remember they all played on the same team together in 2003-04 (jackson's only year in atlanta. that team won 28 games. so yeah, we have 3 cast-offs from a 28 win hawks team in our starting lineup.

nuff said.

oh yeah, theo ratliff was also on that same team.

Playing poorly is not exclusive to bad players. Kobe wouldn't win a hammer every time. Remember that game where Shannon Brown had like 8 3 pointers made in the first half this year? The problem is Gerald doing this too often... I'm glad to see other players doing well, though. We'll likely still have Kwame when all is done.

kobe wouldn't win a hammer every time but you can bet your life on it that in a big game he wouldn't give nothing less than 100% effort. It's one thing if your teammates outperform you stats wise, but it's entirely different when you just lay down like a dog. Kobe would never lay down, but we've seen Gerald do it far too often this season. Thats the difference.
