You know how much you hate DJ's shooting percentage of late?
Well, BEFORE tonight, McBrick is shooting 29% over the past 8 games while pretty much not contributing anything else other than a couple of rebounds.
But hey, you keep on keeping on.................

But McBricks role on the team is more of a defensive one, whereas DJ's role is running the offense.

Does McBrick realize this?

And yet McBricks took 12 fga's tonight and when your team has shot 37% from the floor and around the same for the past (insert how ever many games here), how many assists would you expect your PG to get?
And don't bring that "cheap assists" BS here. You watch the games. You see Crash, Jax and McBricks blow as many layups and Kwame fumble as many passes as I do.

Oh, and "Mr Defensive McBricks" allowed Marvin "no game" Williams rack up 16pts on 5-11 - who should have had many more makes because "Mr Defensive McBricks" left him open SO many times tonight.

To be fair to McGuire, LB had to have mandated that he leave Marvin on any dribble penetration. Whenever a big got switched onto Johnson, he could get by at will, McGuire would collapse, and Marvin would be open. He missed 3-4 open shots.

Hey. I like McBrick - but like you said, as a 10-15 engery bench guy. Nothing wrong with that, it's just what he is. He sure as heck aint a 40min game time guy like he was tonight.

gold - diaw - was fantastic
silver - augustin - should have been a little more aggressive down the stretch and still makes a few too many passes w/out first thinking about who or where he is passing.
bronze - kbrown

Hey at least he has something in common with DJ. I'd blame LB for DJ giving so many minutes, but I'm smart enough to realize he doesn't have another option. You need to be smart too.

There are two very defining differentials between the two.
1. DJ has proven his worth
2. McBrick has had his sh*t handed to him - no questions asked, no answers expected and is yet to deliver.
UNC connection - while UPS says "FU Xavier"

Say what? DJ was a HORROR SHOW last season and then was handed the starting point guard spot this season.

So your stance is that DJ, UPS, Hendo, T2 etc hve had the same sweetheart run as McBrick?
"and if by "handed" you mean "proven himself as a starter from his rookie season, the season that SuperCoach took over when given a chance" then yes, it was handed to him.
