I really, really, REALLY want to win this game.
David West worries me though.

David West is Diaw's favorite kind of guy to guard when he's not being lazy. I think if Diaw is lazy we're doomed though. Who worries me is Chris Paul. Doubling him like we did Rose might not be as safe.

paul rolled his ankle last night, just like dj. maybe he will be less than 100%. he didnt have a good game. lowry went ape on the hornets guards last night.
dj actually matches up ok with paul.
this is a hell of a run of pgs for dj to guard - wall, rose, rondo, paul

Obvs. Diop for us, but I think he's the only one. For them... I dunno.

The New Orleans Hornets had a rough time getting to Charlotte for tonight's meeting with the Bobcats. First, their game in Houston went into overtime (they beat the Rockets) and then there was a long flight delay that meant they didn't touch down here until about 6 a.m.
From what I hear, a pilot got sick and it took several hours to resolve the problem.

mikecranston1 #Hornets already were getting a late start with an 8:30 ET game in HOU that went OT. Then they learned the pilot was sick

mikecranston1 #Hornets PG Chris Paul is going to play tonight despite turning his ankle in HOU. G Marco Belinelli (ankle) will miss 2nd straight game

After hearing of the OT game and the late flight and Paul not being 100 percent and Bellinelli not playing, I say we crush them! At least a 10 point win!

We need to come out running, keep pushing the tempo until they collapse.

Every time we score a basket all five guys on the court should run back up on defense like they are Jet Terry.
If that doesn't get up inside the Hornets players heads after their adventure last night, nothing will.

We need to RUN RUN RUN every chance we get. There is NO REASON we should loose this game. Has to be a W tonight. Lets get DJ going early on cp3 to test that ankle, and they are down to Willie Green and Thornton at the 2 so Jack should have a big night tonight. For that matter, so should Wallace at SF. The key to this game is West. He is the only guy that truly scares me. CP3 is having a down year and has a sore ankle, i would be surprised if he has over 20 points. West is the guy we need to watch.

I want to see Jax post up and get a clear out iso again and again and again all night long. No need for jump shots from range from Jax tonight. He needs to use his size advantage and smarts over those too.

Me too.
I'm hoping Boris can use his body to take him out of his comfort zone to start with and then T2 swat some of his shots to really have him second guessing what he is doing tonight.
Kwame dropping an atomic leg drop on him might not be a bad idea too.

I love that little back screen that Coach Silas has introduced that has DJ set the screen under the rim.
