Lineups

Bibby - Johnson - Evans - Smith - Collins

DJ - JAX - CRASH - FATTY - LIL' MJ

Keys To The Game

- Kwame taking advantage of Atlanta's weak center rotation (Collins, Zaza, Powell)
- Bibby pulling a Holiday
- The two big match-ups: Jax vs. Joe and Josh vs. Gerald
- Can we contain Crawford?
- Who steps up for Tyrus?
- Matt Carroll showing up Matt Ryan.

Prediction

- Hawks will channel the Falcons and we'll channel the Packers.
- Kwame will make Collins his bitch.
- DJ does at least 20 on Bibby.
- Jax **** up in the 4th Quarter as usual.
- Crash is shut down by Josh Smith.
- Expect Henderson and Nazr to step up as our bench performers.

Good stuff.

Honestly did you ever think you'd be writing "Kwame taking advantage of Atlanta's weak center rotation" as a Bobcats key to the game? :D

Nope.

If it's not Collins, Zaza, or Powell playing center, it's the undersized (but great) Horford. I think Nazr and Kwame can exploit that tomorrow. I can't see Crash (who's struggled lately) doing any better against Josh Smith and Diaw's still cruising from his triple-double to care about playing hard.

Wallace is faster than Josh Smith, but not by much.

If it was in Atlanta, I would say bad. But since it's IN Charlotte, I wll say good. It's tough to come off a game like that on the road, especially when that pathetic performance happened at home. it's a good sign for us. They struggle to score, and often so do we. If scoring is not at a premium, we will stay in this game until the end. really though, looking at our upcoming schedule, a win here is paramount. Then again, i guess you could say that about every game the rest of the season with the Bobcats. Every game is pretty much the playoffs for us now.

I noticed Horford didn't play tonight. Don't know if he's a scratch for tomorrow though. If he is, that makes our job much easier.

Does Horford play?
Asking that for 2 reasons. First, does Bobcats have easier night in the post and he is in my fantasy team :D

Hawks fan here, Horford will not even travel with the team it's being reported. His ankle was twisted petty bad in that Miami game Wednesday. He is the heart and soul of our team and as you can see by last night, we are not even half the team without him. It will be hard to duplicate that type of performance tomorrow if we played blindfolded. You guys should win by around 12 to 15 pts i would think.

Atl coming in off a 41 pt beatdown by the Hornets, and playing without Horford, should give us an edge, even without TT playing. I think this is a very good moment to catch Atl being down. Have to take advantage of it.

mikecranston1 Will be interesting to see if NBA suspends Jason Collins for tonight's game vs #Bobcats after his flagrant 2 ejection last night

mikecranston1 Silas says don't expect #Bobcats to make any immediate moves to shore up frontcourt depth. "As of right now we're going to leave it as is"

Being in a boot shouldn't prevent him from standing at the free throw line and practicing free throws for 8 hours a day for the next year.
