bobcats havent had 2 consecutive days off since January 23rd and 24th.
they just played 14 games in 22 days.
now bobcats get 6 days of rest before their next game and only 1 game in next 9 days. this team really really needs some rest. get dj and wallace back to 100% for the stretch run.
time to relax

Yeah, come to think of it this makes our playoff chances look good again. The only real issue with the playoffs is that we're one of 4-5 decent teams trying to get into 3 spots. Philly, NYK, Indiana, CHA, and maybe the Bucks (who I'm not really too worried about). I think that if LB hadn't taken us on a 9-19 run to ruin our season, we'd be looking at the 6th seed.

6 days closer to Tyrus coming back! haha...when's he due back again?
But yeah, MUCH needed rest. Really this coaching staff hasn't even had a real opportunity to sit down and do new things. I'm sure they have done what they can, but it's been constent motion since they took over. Maybe we see a few different things now that they have a chacne to sit and catch themselves. Also will help DJ and Wallace get back to full strength, which we obviously need. on the flip side, this break also gives us a chance to really pursue trades, and if we make a trade, to acclimate them to the team before playing a game. I defiantly think this break is a MUCH better thing for the Bobcats than the Pacers...i'lll tell you that much. With the roll they have been on they DID NOT want this break to come now. Maybe this will help slow them down haha

If we're still playing very well by March (or playing very poorly), I can see us sitting Tyrus out until the playoffs.

Now that Hendo and Livingston have really come on are you not worried about there not being enough shots to go around once Tyrus is back?
Guys that need (see: deserve) shots:
DJ
Jax
Crash
Livingston
Hendo
T2
not to mention Boris who SHOULD be looking to shoot a lot more (in the post)
That's a lot of mouths to feed.

I'd be totally okay with fewer shots by Jax or Hendo in favor of TT. But you can't really trade SG shots for PF shots. He's 3rd to DJ and Diaw when it comes to shooting efficiency, so he ought to be a top priority for the team.
Worries about ball distribution are waaaay outweighed by the value he brings to the floor even outside of his scoring ability.

This. He has a high usage rate partly because of his limited minutes too.
