Wondering if this is something the Cats front office would do.
Diaw/Thomas/Mohammed for VC/Warrick and Suns first.

Trading three of our four competent bigs for a SG in which we are set at and a below average high priced PF?

That pick better be unprotected and the Suns better win the lottery

Not interested in ANY trade that involves trading away Thomas unless we get a superstar back....a big HECK NO to that trade.

That is a horrible, horrible offer.

What if you took only Diaw OR TT but not both, and add in UPS instead. PHO right now is in the Lottery so that is good, and it might free us up to do something with Jax if the FO has another deal on the table. Not saying I am thrilled with it, but I would not think of it as terrible. But there is no way we can give up BOTH Diaw and TT.

i know the cats really want to dump diaw.....but there is just no way we trade TT and one of only two centers that just does not make sense....but he did say it was a two part trade and we will trade wallace for a center.....so ugh whatever

lmao. Thomas couldn't even net us a borderline all star like Billups.

And I would do that trade only if we are definitely heading into blowing it up mode. However, Jax would have to be involved in this, or maybe Diop instead of Nazr. If we blow it up, I want all those horrible contracts removed. The pick looks good and we could probably package our pick and suns pick for a top10 pick. And I'm also fine with the Tyrus/Warrick swap. They are talent wise the same but Warrick gets paid way less.

Why the hell would Phoenix give up Vince Carters expiring contract AND a lottery pick for Thomas, Diaw and Mohammed, not the most desirable contracts.

If anything the Bobcats should be giving up the pick here.

1. To expire VC's contract, we would have to pay him several million dollars.
2. Warrick has a long-term contract and is just a mediocre player.
3. Thomas is a solid prospect that may end up costing us a lottery pick.
4. Worst-case scenario is Diaw's contract expires after next season. Instead of paying Warrick for at least two more seasons, you only pay Diaw for one.
5. Mohammed's contract expires after this season and he's still a solid offensive player.

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachi ... Id=4vmeq3k is more like it. No picks, just a straight switch. I'd easily sacrifice Thomas to shed Diop's contract.

Warrick earns his contract it's just 4yrs/18M$.

Warrick hardly gets off the bench for a team starved of bigs. He's averaging around 12mpg the past two months.

Because Warrick is more of SF than a PF he doesn't play big.

Besides you make it sound like taking Thomas is a plus. He has the worst contract of all players mentioned and according to the rumor that contract is why the Suns aren't interested.

There are no pluses in this trade idea for the Bobcats.

Zero.

Just like you guys, I hope this deal doesn't get done either. Our 1st rd pick is likely gonna be a good pick, its not worth 2 expiring contracts and 1 overpaid PF who has a 5 yr contract.
