Coach Paul Silas says they planned to bring back the undrafted rookie from Kansas after waiving him, but withdrew the offer last week after Collins missed two flights the team had arranged from his hometown of Chicago.

But Silas says after the second missed flight, “That was kind of it.”

i wonder what collins side of the story sounds like. maybe he had his reasons. but on the surface its starting to appear that collins just keeps shooting his own foot. he comes to nba draft camps way out of shape, comes to summer league out of shape, comes to training camp out of shape and now misses contract due to missing flights.

He knew he was getting paid regardless. His fat ass just wanted to get paid for the rest of the year by sitting his ass at home. He knows the Bobcats wasn't going to resign him.
