Carroll scores season-high 26 points in loss to Wizards:

My name is Tom Moore and I cover the 76ers for phillyburbs.com and Calkins Newspapers. Matt Carroll is local for us (went to high school in our circulation area), so I blogged about his big day. I also have a thread on the Sixers page of realgm.

you will find plenty of carroll fans here (and a few haters). one of the most likable players i've ever seen. was so nice to see him have a monster game last night. too bad it wasnt enough. he is finally getting his game back after 3+ years of barely playing. he is starting to play like he did for us back in 2006-07 when he was valuable bench contributor (and sometimes starter).

I'm the biggest Matt Carroll fan ever. I've been following the NBA for about 30 years and he's my favorite player of all-time.

He was my favorite Bobcat back in that 06-07 season... but I'm going to hold off on saying he's back to playing like that.

Matt Carroll is what the bobcats are all about, hardwork, hustle & heart.
I honestly wish we didn't trade him to Dallas to rot, he would most likely be our all-time 3's record holder(if he already isn't)

I guess my phone didn't make the post the other night. I was there, I saw Carroll, and he looked like vintage Carroll. If he could do that every game, we would be in great shape. Unfortunately, I think the Dallas trade and Larry Brown ruined his consistency.

He certainly made the four hour trip to Charlotte worthwhile.
