We're not getting Adelman, he costs too much money and we're rebuilding. Silas is cheap and fits well into the present mediocre image of the club so he's not going anywhere anytime soon. What we need is a serious upgrade of talent, a good coach can be brought in at anytime.

Good coach but he will be asking for a lot of money if he wants to coach again. It's sad how things turned out for him in Houston though. He was dealt a bad card with that team. Their talented but their star is always getting injured.

Yeah I don't really get it, the Rockets met most teams' preseason projections... and those generally thought Yao Ming would at least play a little. The man can clearly coach.
However, I'm with Battery, we won't want to shell out any cash for the next couple of seasons and if Silas stays cheap, then we may as well stick with him.

Paul Silas is the right man for this team at this time. He is a transitional coach to the next stage, which could either include his son stepping in, or hiring a proven head coach willing to work with MJ's vision for reaching the "next level". I like Adleman..but the timing is not good.

Silas is a company man. Adleman is unnecessary. Great offensive coach, though.
