Bobcats Summer School

So, what do you think each of our guys need to work on over the summer so that they are better next season? What other players in the NBA do you think they should watch game tape on and model their games on?
DJA: Two things:
1. GOT to get a floater/tear drop/runner. Too many times he craps his pants with his in between game when driving to the hole. He needs to watch hours and hours of Tony Parker tape and see how Parker uses his quicks to beat defenders then his smarts and touch to lob soft little floaters over the out stretched D to score.
2. Has to work on always being ready to shoot. I noticed a lot last season that sometimes when the ball was kicked out to him it's almost like it caught him off guard and the result was an ugly jumper. When he was ready though, swish. He has to always be ready to shoot. He's too good a shooter not to be. He needs to watch Jet Terry tapes. The guys is always ready for the ball to come to him and knows what to do with it as soon as it touches his hands and he is open.
Hendo: Two things:
1. Work on those handles! Got to be able to use his speed and athletic ability to get to the rack but wont be able to do that without the handles. Dwayne Wade is the obvious mentor for him here.
2. Add range on his J. He adds a legit three point shot and it takes his game to a whole new level. His jumper is so much like Kobe's already that it would make perfect sense for him to study Kobe's form all summer long and add that range.
Jax: One thing:
1. I'd love to see him pick his spots a lot more and let the game just come to him rather than force it. He has all the tricks in his bag and he has to remember to use them - and use the wisely. The guy I would love him to watch is actually Brandon Roy. They are both similar in that they can do it all, the difference being the Roy just lets tthe game come to him (at least he did when he could walk!) and rarely seems to force the issue.
Boris: Two things:
1. GET ANGRY!!! When he is locked in there are dew like him in the NBA. Problem is getting him locked in. I'd love for him to watch tapes of Kevin Garnett and Joakim Noah. Watch their approac to the game and more importanlty, what that approach does for their team mates.
2. Work the post. Seriously, the guy is a great post scorer. He should be watching Tim Duncan and how easy it would be for him.
T2: Three things:
1. Slow it down on the offensive end. The more he rushes on that end usually the more out of control he is and the worse the result. I'd like him to watch Zach Randolph and how Z-Bo takes his time to execute his offense.
2. If he can work on his post moves to a point where the ball can be dumped down to him that would be huge for us. It doesn't have to be anything fancy, just use his speed, length and athletic ability to score in close. JJ Hickson does a great job of that - and T2 is longer, quicker and more athletic than he is.
3. Calm down!! He's an emotional guy but he gets too qorked up and too distracted which often leads to silly fouls. He needs to watch a guy like Nick Collison and how he just roles with the punches but still works his arse off.
So, there are some to start. What do you think? I'll add more later on (Liv, DJW, Dante, Hammer, Kwa-Man)
