Assuming there is no lock out and there is a full season and assuming we land a top 10 pick, which are you more excited for?

It'll be interesting to see where peeps heads are at.

I don't really "look forward" to the draft. It's coming and I don't think about it until April or so. Until then, we have a season to watch.

I'm going to go with the draft. I'm obviously a college ball/draft nut so I guess I'm tipping my pitches a bit but oh well. We already know what's going to happen this season.

We're going to suck.

So I'm way more excited to see what we do with the 2012 draft because possibly picking up our superstar and franchise player bears much more importance on the future of our franchise than this season.

This minus the college ball nut part.

When you have a rebuilding team you're inevitably going to be more excited for the draft that's supposed to signify an end game for said rebuilding process.

It's hard to get excited about watching a young team get tooled by the rest of the league for 82 games. I mean, I'll watch being a fan and all, but don't ask me to get excited. The only aspect of the season I'm remotely interested in midseason before the trade deadline where our potential to trade a Diaw, Carrol, White, etc to a team looking for a playoff push will be high.

I'm anxious to see Kemba play against the NBA's elite guards and how much of a defensive force Bismack can be right away, therefore I'm more excited for the season. The 2012 NBA Draft is going to come & go, but it'll be fun watching the rebuilding outlook of this team as it is put together piece-by-piece.

To me, the point of the Charlotte Bobcats is to play basketball, and well. The draft is part of the "and well", and to me, is absolutely nothing without the "play basketball" which is why I'm happy for the games when they do come.

Our team is depleted, I will watch but it won't be fun at all.

Speaking of the draft and 2012 season. What teams do you guys think we are definitely better than? My list goes like this:

1. Cleveland. Worst team last year our rookies will have better impact in the first year. Team full of PGs and PFs.
2. Minnesota. Bad team. Derrick is nice but where does he fit? Some nice assets but no team mentality right now. I think they want to be better since the Clips have their 2012 pick. But I have hard times seeing them be anything but cellar team
3. Toronto. Worse team last year, didn't improve at all. They want the top pick bad apparently
4. Sacramento. That team could set a league record for assists in a bad way. All ball hogs Evans, Thornton, Cusins, Jimmer, Salmons

So in my mind we are the 5th worst team= top 8 pick. We need to drop a few spots to guarantee a game changer

Same feeling here, I can't see how I could get more excited for the draft than the games, even if we suck big time.
