Gerald Henderson Injury Update

Post#1 » by hotrod » Thu Sep 8, 2011 5:41 pm

From his twitter account I asked..

GhJr09 Gerald Henderson
“@HOTRODHART: @GhJr09 Are you near 100% yet? We need you big time with Jax gone.” bout 80% and rising fast

That is from today 9/8/11. Good news. Hopefully lockout will end soon and he can get with Bobcats trainers and speed up the process.

I shiver to think that this kid was being held back by bone spurs. This guy's gonna kick some ass.

Now you know why the Cats have been so high on him the last two years. We Duke fans have known for years.

Rawls said he expects to have Kevin Durant, John Wall, Michael Beasley, DeMarcus Cousins, Greg Monroe, Jarrett Jack and Sam Young for the Goodman League team. Delonte West and Nolan Smith are also possibilities for the game. Team Philly is expected to feature Hakeem Warrick, Tyreke Evans, Kyle Lowry, Wayne Ellington, Lou Williams, Jason Thompson, Gerald Henderson, Flip Murray, Mardy Collins, Rasual Butler and possibly, Jameer Nelson.

I assume this means his hip is feeling better?

I just don't feel like giving my credit card information. Call me lazy/paranoid, it's a combination of both.

Smart thinking Crunk, DO NOT give out your credit card info on the net to a random bball site.

I didn't take a hard look. I figure by the time I find it, it would be halftime and I'd sit around doing nothing. That is if it wasn't already over XD

I'm always very cautious of things that want my credit card information but don't want any money.

Looks a little stiff, but healthy overall. Jumper is looking pretty solid too working out with Steph, Hammer, UPS, and Jamison

GREAT find SWeed! Nice work.

Hendo looking good. Love seeing him taking a couple of dribbles, get to a different spot on the floor and draining J's rather than just catching and shooting. Going to need a LOT of that from him going forward.

Interesting that Hendo seems to shoot his mid range J at the peak of his lift but with his 3pt shot he seems to shoot on the way up - or am I imaging things?

I used to shoot the same. (in the old days when I could jump, just thinking about it hurts my knees now)
On 3 pointers I shot on the way up and used my legs to get more lift but used to shoot from the highest point on a pull up to make it harder to block and just give me a clearer look over defenders.

They should try to get Point Guard Ish Smith in those workouts too.
