I might have overrated the Hornets by saying that they will finish 9th, but wow - you guys don't believe in them at all.
Jack/Gordon/Ariza/Landry/Kaman (on his contract year)
Mek, Belinelli and Aminu coming off the bench

That doesn't seem like a bad team to me. A lot of it depends on Kaman being healthy, however if he is, I think that they might have a decent season.

A problem might be the fact that these guys would have wanted to stay in LA.

that west is so deep. i think the hornets team will have a lot of dysfunction. none of those guys have played together. nobody, except okafor, wants to be there. maybe they will pull together on the strength of the bond that they all feel like they have been dissed by their teams/league.

Yeah, I don't think they finish last in the conference. I think the end up bottom 8 but not last.

They know they have to play well to be taken by another team. Plenty of motivation, sometimes adversity alone brings a team together. They might be dangerous for a few upsets.

Kenny Smith had us making the playoffs on Inside the NBA last night. It makes me wonder whether he actually knows any other Cats player besides Kemba.

Interesting to take a look at your own season predictions. I'm proud about naming 15 of the 16 playoff teams correctly.
