Gold - Corey Maggette
Silver- DeSagana Diop
Bronze - Byron Mullens

*Note - I hated giving Maggette the "Gold" because he was a black hole, but there wasn't much competition.

3- Maggette
2- Mullens
1- Biz

Maggette and Mullens at least put the ball in the hole tonight. Biz was the only one who competed every second he was on the floor and loved how he did not back down to Dwight and really did draw 2 or 3 fouls on Dwight if the Refs were not so Starry eyed.

Ditto. Mullens is playing well. Mags was good but not great. DJ White had some game tonight also.

G: DJ Augustine (only b/c he tried to attack the basket and got to the line)
S: Diop (played well and hustled actually)
B: Mullens (nice spark off the bench but I'd like to see him rebound better)

Brown Frown: Maggette. Yeah, he scored but he didn't seem assertive enough, not playing like the "leader" he's supposed to be.

I cannot get down on Kemba. Guys, it was only his 3rd game in the NBA. Cannot expect double digit scoring and solid play every night. Let the kid learn a bit. He's gonna be good.

i didnt really have a problem with kemba last night. i thought it was his best passing night so far and i loved the way he was hounding them defensively. his shot selection still is a problem and his mid range jumper is either in a slump or not as good as advertised, but those two things are easy to improve.

Nobody is down on Kemba. He played bad last night, simple as that. When he plays good, he'll get a Hammer from me. When he's the most disappointing, he'll get the BF

I get you. I just have a hard time giving a BF to a Rookie. You have to expect mistakes from them with a learning curve. I think the more experienced players are the ones who deserve a BF when they have a crapper of a game. But that may just be me.

Just accept the fact that some people are hard on rookies who've played 3 NBA games. Some are hard on rookies who have played 5 minutes.

Not being hard on him. He just played bad. Nobody said he sucks and/or shouldn't be on the court.

Stop being so sensitive.

I don't think he played bad, he just shot bad.

After seeing the game in person, I'm more concerned about Hendo than Kemba. Hendo had a cold shooting night and that happens. What bothered me is that he became visibly frustrated, shaking his head after missed shots, and seemed to take himself out of the game. Obviously unfair to compare him to MJ, but I remember games where MJ's shot was clearly off and he would decide to go hogwild on the boards or get teammates involved. He wouldn't sulk. I'm really still on the fence about whether Hendo is a starting SG in this league or a topnotch 2nd teamer.

The F, where in my post did i say anyone sucks? Sensitive lol, i stated a fact that fans have a natural tendency to pass quick judgement on rookies and are generally harsh on them from the jump. Stop reading my posts like i'm moaning all the time like some people on here lol. Not you.
