Wanna bring Crash back?

The wire tap says that the blazers aren't committed to signing him and Batum which likely odd man outs our boy. I would really like to see us bring him home after we have drafted our new star, and made a run at the free agent headliners this summer. One of the reasons I give Chicago fans grief over the pick we owe is, because I would love to see this team next fall.

Only if the price is right, and I'm talking less than what we paid him the last time. I doubt he's willing to take less money and he's probably still pissed at our FO (Higgins) for trading him away.
Dwight is never happening though. We're also screwed if we take Sean May v2.

how the hell did Dwight end up there.
and no. as much as I still love Gerald, he will ask for too much money. He's going to get the last contract of his career so you can expect him demanding $12million per year. which is unfortunate for us because he will be done in 2 years

This. If he continues to play at his current level the entire year, I wouldn't be surprised if a desperate team (one move away from contending) threw a near max at him. He's not worth it and that's probably the real reason for why we moved him last year.

LMAO @ adding Dwight Howard all non chalantly, did I miss something? Howard would only come here if he develops a man-crush on Kemba or one of the players we'll draft, and in non way shape or form is Sullinger going to become a franchise changer, he becomes Kevin Love at best, and Sean BigMcMay at worst, but I'd only add Crash if he is willing to become a Mentor for someone like Gilchrist and come off the bench, and if we amesty bad porn

Wouldnt be surprised to see the Lakers go after him. Walton, and Fishers contracts expire that year which would free up right around 10 million, and Kobe will be begging for additional help in the twilight moments of his career.

I think Portland will resign him after this season. And I think he was so hurt by the trade that even if he wanted to come back, he would not.

The point of bringing back Crash was assuming that with the three lottery picks we will have made the last year, and a major free agent signing that the rebuilding project would be over. We would then trying to simply improve the team. Do I believe Dwight is coming to Charlotte? Oh course not, but eighty percent of what we post is wishful thinking right? I would like to see Crash back. I think it is quite likely that he will be back. He lives here. His family is here. He has already says that he will not seek an extention with Portland. I seriously doubt that he will sign in LA to play with an ancient Kobe Bryant with his wife and kids on the opposite coast.
