What do you think the % Chance would be of Charlotte hiring him and SVG accepting?

Can you go any higher than 100%?

I choose that.

He would automatically boost our porn star look alike rep points.

Can't pass up on that.

I'd be elated with either of them. Not only can they coach but they're good for some of the best interviews in pro sports.

Heck, I'm not picky. I'll take either Van Gundy over either Silas.

Stan Van Gundy is a good coach, especially when it comes to defensive principles. His orlando Magic teams have ALWAYS played up to their ability. Look at their roster over the last 5 years. it has not been great. other than Howard it's just been serviceable guys knowing their roles.

The only problem with SVG is that his coaching style wears on a team. Maybe with what's happening in Orlando he can adjust it a bit. I would take him any day, OR anyone from the Popovich coaching tree.

Stan would get a team like Suns or Clippers fighting for a playoff spot before Bobcats had a chance. Jordan seems to like Silas even though the fans don't. 2 seasons top, I see Bobcats fighting for playoffs. Not now.

I want SVG as it would surely increase our chances of signing Dwight Howard.

Seriously I think SVG's comments to the media might hurt his chances on getting another coaching job in a hurry.

True or not, its bad business to air the dirty laundry like that.

Also how big a bitch has Dwight come. I'm getting **** sick of these superstars.

The Master of Panic coaching the Charlotte Bobcats? I never imagined that.

But I agree with ohara. I'd pick him over the two Silas.

I'd rather be coached by a cardboard cut out of the Macho Man Randy Savage than have Paul Silas at this point. I'll give Stephen a chance. With an improved roster, training camp, etc he might be a pretty good coach. We've been mostly competitive in the games he has coached.

Strong choice of words...

I don't know much about his son but I don't think he's ready yet. Even if Charlotte improves the roster, coach has to establish a new game plan, find his rotation and get the players on his side. Thats asking a lot in a couple of years.

There is only one time I remember him pissing me off about Kemba but it was recently so Silas JR is on my **** list right now.

JVG might be better but he could have taken loads of coaching positions by now.
