Having a team with the worse ever record in the NBA History Books is something Charlotte doesn't want. Fans in the NFL still talk about the Tampa Bay Bucs 0-16 season every season they have a team that is tanking. We don't want to be the NBA eqivulent.
Any Bobcat player that is running through the motions and not giving it 100% tonight should hear it from the coachs/players/fans. At 8pm tonight TWC should be packed..yes a sell out. NYK cannot rest players because the 7th seed is not guaranteed right now so everybody will be dressed.

MJ needs to address the team right before they leave the locker room, at half time and after the game.
This game is more important than any playoff game . Its about RESPECT and Aretha Franklin should be played before every quarter starts to remind the Knicks we are here tonight to beat them.

This one game could set the tone for the organization for years to come.

MJ...the bobcats and fans are tired of having our ass kicked. Tonight we want to prove we belong in the league and kick some ass and WIN. Shots dropping,Boards rattling and physical defense is what we want to remember about tonight's win.

Is it wrong that I don't care? MJ will be responsible for the best and worst record in the NBA at the end of the night. I'm just glad that we finally blew it up and tanked. I don't even care if we land Unibrow or not either. I just want a top 3 pick for once.

I want a top 3 pick next year too.

Not having the worst record of all time isn't going to make the pain of this season any easier.

I'm with DJN. I couldn't really care either way any more.

I'm so excited to see us on national TV (the first time since our playoffs appearance). Not sure if in a good way though. I want a win badly, come on, guys.

the commentary will be rough on us. it will be brutal if we have one of those game like vs the kings where we dont show up, play with no effort and are down 25 at half.

bobcats fans, IF we do lose this game tonight, there is a real possibility of some trolls coming on our board to poke fun at us. please do not engage these posters. if you feel something is said that is over the line, simply report the post and ignore them. let the mods take care of the trolls. i'd hate to have to give out warning/suspensions to bobcats fans who felt they were simply defending our board.

Was reading on another board that the Knicks may try and tank this game themselves to avoid a first round match up against Miami.

Yeah, the first round of the NFL draft is tonight, so I'm not going to be able to catch the game. Anyway, I'd love to get a win tonight. Even if Carmelo and Tyson sit this one out and it ends up being a cheap win, it would still be nice to not go down in the books as the worst team ever, even if it's already perceived that way.

While the Knicks may not go all out, we're still awful and I don't think any team wants to lose to us at this point, or even more, lose to us twice this season.

I didn't want any part of the record either, but I can't imagine that we are going to beat a focused NYK team tonight. I will be turning back and forth between the cats and the draft. :wink:

I was going to place money on this game but the spread is only 5. The game against Orlando was 14. I guess the books are anticipating New York to lose this game on purpose or at least try to.
