If you guys land Ant Davis would you be interested in this deal?
Biyombo and Tyrus Thomas (Salary dump) to Sixers for Thad Young, 16th pick and 2013 first
With the mid round pick you can land a talented small forward like Moe Harkless or Quincy Miller to eventually replace Maggetti, both are talented freshman with star potential. Worst case for Harkless is hes a lockdown defender, Miller is instant offense.
FA target an offensive big to compliment Davis, best case would be throwing some money at Lopez.
This gives you an incredibly deep talented team, kind of a better more talented version of the Sixers tbh. Not to mention you have 4 valuable trade pieces in Maggetti, Augustine, Carrol and Diop to potentially secure another impact player.
C. Brook Lopez/Mullins
F. Ant Davis/Thad Young
F. Maggetti/(Quincy Miller/Moe Harkless)
G. Henderson/Matt Carroll
G. Kemba/Augustine

Not really interested in that deal to be honest. I think Bismack has much more value than that and if we want to get out of Tyrus' contract so badly we'll just amnesty him

Not interested. I want Davis playing WITH Biz, not at the cost of him.

I would be tempted to do that deal but teams can't trade picks back-to-back years so that would have to be a 2014 first. It's still tempting but not ideal.
Thad could pay off (a la Gerald Wallace) but wouldn't want to exchange a potential post threat for a potential wing threat. It's much easier to find decent wings in this league.
Now, Tyrus and Kemba for Thad, 16th, and Lou Williams? Sign me the hell up. Throw in our second rounder if necessary.

I do not think we gain very much in this deal essentially we are giving up the 7th pick who has monster potential for an undersized 4, its not the 16th pick anymore because you guys won your first playoff series and you will probably be a playoff team next year as well especially adding a defensive center.
Yeah we get rid of Tyrus, but he can have just as much value as Young, who is also overpayed, if he gets back to his usual self.
So basically we would get two picks in the 20's most likely. So that is a NO!!!

Don't bother this scenario is against the rules anyways. And isn't it a 15th pick actually?

its not a player on our roster I wouldnt trade to get rid of Tyrus Thomas without using the Amnesty. That would mean we can use it on someone else like Diop or Maggette. But I would trade ANYBODY to get rid of Thomas. BB is ok but he isnt good enuff to hold on to if an opportunity like this shows up. Hell, I dont think he's ready to start over a healthy Diop yet. So heck yeah, I'd send him on his way...

No offense, but that makes no sense at all. Diop and Maggette are both free agents next summer. If he wants to Diop can become a free agent this summer. Why would we waste the amnesty clause on a player who is about to be a free agent?
