Beal is listed at 6-3 but that's clearly out of date. "I'm way taller than 6-3," Beal said. "I think I grew an inch or two but I'm not sure how tall I am right now."

Beal, only 18, said he's still growing and hopes that he's 6-5 now, adding, "When I was younger I heard 6-6 or 6-7 (from doctors). Hopefully, I'm still growing. I don't have any facial hair so maybe I can keep going."

Alonzo, after shooting around with Beal, tells him he's bigger than Ray Allen (who's 6'5):

If this kid comes in the combine and measures in between 6'5 and 6'6.. lookout

if he's 6'6" then that would be quite good. It might even make him worth a #2

Watching that video, I'd say he was 16 and not fully developed yet. Maybe we'll take him and he'll grow like Paul George.

Beak doesn't look taller than 6'3 in Florida vids. And I think it's silly to fret over an inch or two anyway. Basketball skills and IQ >> prototypical perfect athlete. Beal strikes me as going to be a really good NBA player, a deadly shooter, a hard worker, and good teammate on a winning team for a long time.

One of the Bobcat's biggest weaknesses is shooting. He could bring a lot to this team.

Measurements will make or break my opinion on this fella. We're already so undersized... I guess I'm more interested in him than MKG, if that's saying anything.

If he's 6'6 I feel he would definitely go number 2. Not sure if we'd be the team he would end up with though.

If Beal is 6'5 or 6'4 with out shoes I could be on board with picking him second...we are just too short for another 6'3 shooting guard

My concerns:

Height: 6-4 or less is a no go.

Handles: They are ok, but not special.

Athleticism: He's no slouch, but all the star SG's in the NBA are special athletes.

My fear is he will be solid, but nothing special. If his handles were rock solid and he was a D. Wade level athlete, I would be for it.

Not that it really matters but..............

I (literally) grew just over 6 inches from 16-17 and then topped out at around 6'7" when I turned 24.

A zillion percent the same. I'm not on "love" with Beal - but I do know I like him a LOT more than MKG.

If I were 6'7'' I would be playing Division 1 somewhere...

Instead I have to be a 5'10'' white shooting guard... FML

I think I could be Kyle Korver in the NBA if I were that tall.. I hold my high schools record for most three point field goals in a season and for a career...

Scouts just said at my size I was not athletic enough to play division one. I had a few Division 2 offers, but they were to expensive schools and I could not afford them with a partial scholarship..
