Bobcats Unveil New Colour Scheme and Uni's

this deserves its own thread, not mixed in with the charlotte hornets name change thread.

as rumors have been flying all week, it seems the bobcats are in the middle of changing/tweaking the color scheme of the team. this is unrelated to a possible name change.

Rumors started flying when a fan noticed no Bobcats gear on the NBA site. With everything being 60% off right now and with Silver coming to talk about a change with MJ, people started to question a change to the Hornets. Looks like all they did was change the colors around a bit

Keep in mind these hats and shirts apparently aren't available for sale, guys have just found the file locations and posted them. Something is definitely in the works

I like the hats but I want to see what the uniforms will look like now. For some reason I actually think this color scheme on the logo makes us look more professional, more like an NBA team. I don't know what it is, maybe it was the orange, but this just looks much better to me as an NBA team. I wonder when we will see the uniforms and new court.

I also got ammofan to mock up some different combos with popular choices for "if we had different colors". If you don't want these up, mods, just delete or let me know

Black/Gold/Blue

Cougars Colors

Navy/Gold/Carolina Blue

Black/Red/White

Dislike the new scheme.

We've went from the expansion brilliant orange jerseys to the blue (which was nice) and now orange is barely a color. Who else but the lolcats would wear those bright orange things?

Now we just look like a generic NBA team. Sucks.

the Black Red and Whiteitsh grey looks sick too, too bad its Atl Failcons colors

I love it. Look like they added two colors, light blue and gray to the mix. Someone alluded to it earlier that the new logo in comparison with the old logo makes us more professional looking. I agree. The orange was just too overwhelming in the logo. They needed to add more subtle colors in there and minimize the orange as much as possible.

Looks like we're slowly starting to morph into the Dallas Mavericks. Maybe they're hoping that Dirk Nowitzki gets senile in his old age and gets confused enough to sign with us.

I think they need a little more orange, but keep it to thinks like the eyes on the cat, etc. Outlines over other colors works too. Highlights.

Wow, I like that look even better. Instead of having that orange used as one of the main colors just use orange as an accent color. All we need to do now is change that Bobcat to a Hornet and everyone would be happy.
