A lot of new software and database development stuff that other teams can replicate. I wonder if there's more to it, that he's holding back. I like the fact that he hired a Havard guy to do statistic analysis.

Higgins is a little too close for my liking.

Bonnell is getting in my good graces lately. Another great read by him.

I like the player classification system in Cho's database. After Anthony Davis (who right now would be considered a core player, but maybe a franchise player down the road?), hopefully his scouting system helps us find a core player or a top starter.

I wonder were our current players rank on the system? I am really excited about this database..I hope this is the kind of thing that will still be used way after Cho is gone

I hope he has thomas, carroll, diop, thomas, maggette, moon, white, and higgins all listed as "No-Bobcat". It's pretty sad that I just listed 8 of our 15 players.

I hope we can reap the benefits of Cho's "state-of-the-art scouting system" soon.

Rich Cho really is the man.

It seems for the first time in our existence we have a formulated direction.

it almost feels like a tabletop game with extension stat modifiers. Cho is our DM.

I like the fact that he's leveraging a complex home-built system that nobody else has access to. I also feel better about his ratings because it's not looking just at simple ratings; it's factoring in the big picture.

That's probably where his stats come from. I imagine they can type in a name and a nice screen pops up with career stats, salary history, criminal history, scouting reports, and Bobcats rating. Well, it's probably more expansive than that.

Imagine bbreference, shamsports, background check database, and a bunch of other things combined like a sundae. Delicious.

I feel we already know who we want to pick but we will spend our time trying to make a trade. Same for #31.

Soon as he started talking about bill russells stats I was like basketballreference.com

as awesome as this database is, it really is only as good as our scouts. if our scouts put in crap data, we will get crap results. it definitely helps make researching and decision making easier for those guys at the top though. you know the saying though "**** in **** out"

baseball is much more of a stat game than basketball.....stats will lie right in your face...like Beal shooting 33 percent from 3 last year in college but no one would call him a bad shooter

not really about cho, but adonal foyle was let go today by the magic. would be cool if we could find a way to employ him. class act, smart dude. would be a great addition to most franchises.
