Seems like a strange move to only jump 2 spots, unless it's part of another deal to climb even higher.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

I posted this in the trade the #2 pick thread, I don't see it really changes much for US yet.

Rockets are trying to gradually improve their picks for a reason..

For their sake I hope it isn't Howard.

I can only imagine they are about to move Lowry and Livingston was brought in to back up Gragic.

Lowry and stuff to the Raptors for #8 maybe?

Its obvious the Rockets want to make some noise and what bigger noise there is than landing Dwight Howard.

I can see Houston flipping some of this and lowry to Portland for the 6th pick. Ortland gets their pg and draft Zeller/Leonard with the 11th

Lowry and 12 for 6

Then 6 and 16 for 2

Then 2 and 18 with pieces for Howard

That is my guess

If the rockets just got Livingston, maybe they're keeping Lowry and moving Dragic

I think Dragic is a free agent and Lowry wants out. My guess is Livingston is meant to be a backup and if they can't bring back Dragic he can start during a down season.

He wanted out because of coaching if I remember right. There are a lot of coaches out there too? Still, you could just as easily be right.

if i was the raptors and lillard was off the board at 8, i would call the rockets and offer 8 for lowry.

Unintentionally held my breath when I saw "Rockets Trade Dalembert To" in the WT. Seems like a good deal for them to get out of Dally's contract and move up two spots.

:) :) :) :o :-? :-? What really are the Rockets up to? If it is multiple trades to get at Howard. Maybe Orlando might have an interest in2012 #2,2013 protected 1st, and 18 and players to free up Tukalou/Howards salary from Houston?. They might select Drummond at 2 and still have 18 and 19 to fill their roster. Why we would accept 6 and 16 for 2 is the big question unless we are dumping TT salary and/or trading Augustine... then we pickPG Lillard at 6 and a SF/PF at 16 and 31?

If Houston is going to pull the trigger on a number of complex trades, We should expect to hear about it well before the draft begins at 730.
