If Coach D is naming the starters based on the best players from the previous game, who gets the start for this one?

Kemba
Gordon (tho Hendo will surely start)
MKG
Mully
Haywood (by simply not playing he was the best by default because he wasn't out there getting embarrassing by Robin Lopez)

By going strictly on who played well Gordon would start, but his game is best suited coming off the bench in my opinion.

Walker
Henderson
Gilchrist
Mullens
Haywood.

I wonder if Dunlap has the balls to bench Hendo for BG if Gordon happens to show more consistency throughout the preseason.

I'm not totally sure what Henderson has done to deserve such a tight grip on his starting job in his time here. Looks like he's still struggling with the same problems as last year that make him nothign more than a decent role player at the NBA level, he can't hit 3s or free throws at a respectable rate. as long as he has these huge holes in his scoring game he will never be efficient enough to warrant being a go-to scorer even on our crummy team.

I think people put too much emphasis on who starts. Its almost like asking why James Harden doesn't start. I could easily see Gordon coming off the bench and getting more minutes than Henderson. Its not necessarily about whom I think is the better player, but what I think would better fit our team.

is this going to be on TV?

hendo also has some consistency problems. he routinely follows up big games with games where he disappears for long stretches. that can't happen. he has to find ways to impact every game.

I think the only ones that will be televised are the Detroit and Miami games, and that will be televised by them, and not us. Should be able to find a stream though.

I'm in Charlotte for a couple days and noticed this game is happening. Thought for sure I could find cheap tickets to a game that isn't exactly Lakers/Heat in the finals, but I'm seeing absolutely nothing on stubhub, Craigslist, and eBay. I have visited lots of NBA arenas and find this highly unusual. Any tips? Will there be plenty of scalpers at the arena?

true dat. We could've probably gotten an early 2nd from a team. But hey, you never know. If Reggie plays well, hopefully his value increases and we can package him with Sessions for a mid 1st.

MKG has played steady so far, hopefully he'll explode tonight to get revenge on his buddy.

i guess its preseason so it doesnt really matter and probably dangerous, but im ready to see (or hear?) some of those MKG drives we were seeing in summer league where he just explodes to the basket and you have to either foul him or give up the points.

I think he went to Spurs training camp.
Pretty disappointed in Reggie, I had hopes he would be a spark off the bench.

Hum..We got our butts handed to us in the 3rd quarter last game.
Hornets are better team than we are with Lopez,Wall,.Rivers and cast. The only way we beat them tonight is if Gordon comes off bench to score 20+, and Haywood/Biz combine for 20-15 in paint. Need to give Sessions more time at point and bring KW off bench. Mkg needs double/double, Hendo 16-8... Otherwise predict Hornets 105-95.

Hum..Sessions did start and logged more time while KW came off the bench in the last game. I don't think that worked out too well.
