Figured I would start a topic on the various and sundry preseason cast-offs and potential cast-offs that may be worth more to the Bobs than - say - Dajuan Summers or Cory Higgins.

For instance;

Eddy Curry and UPS - just cut from SAS.
Rodney Carney - likely to be cut from MIA.

I'll likely get crucified for this, but based on what I've seen in preseason thus far, I wouldn't mind seeing Curry on our bench. Guy averaged 8/4 in 15 mins on 68% FG in preseason. Obviously, the Heat thought more of Harrelson than Curry, but despite this, Curry would at least give us someone we could dump the ball to down low. He's also supposedly in very good shape (by Eddy Curry standards).

I mentioned in another thread, the problem with Curry is that he is a below average rebounder, crap defender and awful passer.

He would probably be the Bobcats best (ever???) low post scorer, but it doesn't make up for his other problems .

You mention Rodney Carney and don't mention UPS or T-Will?

We really don't need another wing unless he is a monster rebounder who can logg minutes at the four.
