I don't want to play any depleted teams if we don't have to, but I agree it would be funny!!!!! Haha

Should be a win, but then again we lost to New Orleans so who knows. I watched the Raptors tonight, and from what I saw, I think that Sessions, Walker and MKG should all put up some good numbers tomorrow. Also a good opportunity for Mullens to work on his post game :-)

And they had a hard fought loss tonight. Now they must board a plane and come to Charlotte for the 2nd of a back to back. We should have a strong shot at this game tomorrow.

For what it's worth, the Raptors have won all their games on the end of a back to back.

I hope that Kemba gets a chance to play against Calderon, because there is no possible way Calderon could stop him driving to the basket. Lowry's a legit defender. Whatever, Sessions is just as good getting to the rack.

Mullens vs. Bargnani, this should be good. At least Mullens is a decent matchup defensively and offensively, he gets to roam around the perimeter

Bargnani has been pretty much crap since the season started, I'm not as worried about him as maybe I should be.
Mike Malone was never given a fair chance in Sacramento, and Ranadive will soon come to regret that, when he's on top of the WC inevitably contending somewhere

Bargnani is a joke so Mullens can have a field day on him. He's so bad at rebounding a guy a foot shorter than him in Lowry is out-rebounding him despite playing fewer minutes.

And I trust Dunlap better in crunch time than Casey.

Only player that worries me on their roster is Lowry and iirc he just came back from an injury and is on a b2b to boot. They might not want to push him too hard yet. If they play Calderon 37 min like they did last night Kemba and Sessions are gonna go off.

DeRozan is good I guess, everyone thinks he's breaking out. I'd still take Henderson over him and I bet Henderson would be having a more impressive season than DeRozan once again if he hadn't gotten hurt.

Val is good too but their coach is limiting him heavily for whatever silly coaching reason. Good for us though

Hmmm....

I suspect a Bobcats win here. We are, in principle, better than you offensively but we are an abomination on defense and you guys have some tools on your roster that will not work well (for us) with our defensive issues.

MKG is probably going to go bananas, because we have no one to guard him and Casey won't use Ross... which wouldn't much matter, anyway. If they feed him in the post, we'll be lost, especially if they do it when the inevitable "sit all of our good defensive bigs" part of Casey's gameplan comes into effect.

If we play Jose a ton, Walker is going to do exactly what Jrue Holiday did last night, and of course I don't see us much doing anything to slow down Gordon, so if his shot is on, that'll work. Try to match Mullens up against Bargs and that's always wise. No iso, just pick-and-pop or spot-up, Bargs will lose him, open J, swish.

As an aside, it seems early, but I vaguely recall being less than complimentary of MKG in the preseason, at least in certain comparisons. He's still uber-raw offensively, but he's doing stuff he didn't seem to do much in college and his physical tools are better than they seemed in the NCAA. I didn't realize he had that kind of footspeed in the post. I was mentioning this in the GB thread about him, but his first step out of an elbow face-up, the jab step and his rip-through with the ball are really good. He needs to add more variety, but in his current role?

Good pick, and good luck tonight.

Lamb, Jones, Teague need to score to be effective on the floor. MKG and Davis didn't. it makes sense that he and Davis were suppressed a bit on O for the overall health of the team. I'm sure MKG could have went to a program that was going to feature him on offense and score an efficient 20 ppg, Wouldn't have won the title though. He was the best transition player in college basketball last year and its carrying over

I want to post in that MKG thread on the GB so bad but I'm banned :(

You can still post on the PC Board, no? MKG is a current topic anyway, so stick a post up on the PC Board comparing MKG to... someone (other than Pippen, pleasefortheloveofgod), and I'll stick a link in the GB thread.

I don't think you'd appreciate my overbearing homerism

also #FreeRoss

is he hurt or what? I liked him before the draft its kinda disturbing to see lottery guys getting dnps and 5 minute games. Thats what Larry Brown did to Henderson and it set him back immensely development wise.

Friendly warning... don't do that. It would be construed as "posting for a suspended/banned user," which would basically be an instantaneous suspension. There are better ways.

I'm familiar with you, Kemba. Besides, you aren't any worse than lilojmayo or a legion of Kobe fans, so you'll fit right in on the PC Board. ;)

Ross hasn't shown us a ton on offense, is a low-upside player... and I still totally agree with you. Casey hates young guys and doesn't play them. Ross is experiencing the same phenomenon that is affecting Ed Davis and, to a lesser but far more frustrating extent, Jonas V. Casey is an utter toolbag about how he's treating our young guys on this bad team, and we rant about it regularly. Grr.

I'm excited to see how Lowry matches up against Kemba.

Me too. I always thought that both of their style of play were kind of similar being that they both are smallish guys with lots of intangibles that get overlooked. Kemba just happens to have a little more flair and intensity.
