how do you come back from getting blown out by 45 points? i guess the same way you come back from only winning 7 games in a season - hard work, effort, fundamentals and getting into the paint.
i am very concerned that the past few games has seen a return of the kemba from last season - poor fg%, not getting into the paint, not many FTAs. kemba really could use a bounce back game, but he struggled vs teague last week.
jeff taylor is on a 4 game hammer run. mkg is on a 4 game no hammer run.
we better do a better job defending horford this time. he killed us last week. hopefully biz will be back to help out down low.

Sarcastically long overdue. I couldn't wait to get over last game. Same scenario as last week. Don't allow Al Horford to have a field day with uncontested midrange jumpshots & keep him off the offensive glass. Also, make sure to keep someone attached to Kyle Korver beyond the arc at all times. Josh Smith might be their best player, but he's his own worst enemy, as long as you don't give him a free pass to the lane. Hopefully, the 'Cats can right the ship in this game from last night's almost Titanic-like crash.

i think Dunlap is burning Kemba out a little bit.
39 min
day off
44 minutes
47minutes double ot
roadtrip day off
OKC
alot of minutes and he presses full court often and at worst picks his guys up at midcourt with that intense pesky d. its one thing to play 40 min if your a pass first, big pg that relaxes on D. Kemba expends more energy in 30 min than most players would in 45.
his games have gotten progressively worse. He should be a 32 mpg player right now with his style. u can see his explosiveness dropping off and that kills his whole game.
maybe Dunlap is doing that whole overloading thing and trying it on the real games. just hope he doesnt get Kemba hurt

Will Biyombo be back? The guy doesn't do anything in the stat sheet but he's still an active big.

He does ok on the boards, and is pretty good at grabbing some blocks, I think he does just fine in the stat sheet. But yeah you're right it doesn't tell the whole story.

I just think opposing coaches are making more adjustments to Kemba. You look at the first couple of games he went to the paint almost at will. Now it looks like they are doing a good job trapping him out near the three point line. I'm not too worried about it now. Its still early for Kemba and he has time to make adjustments on his own.

I think a big difference maker in the last game against the Hawks was Stevenson. That guy came off the bench and made some huge threes for them, and Devin Harris played well too. If those guys have subpar games, and we can somehow limit Horford, I like our chances. We're still a good team, we just ran into the NBA's best on Monday.

The Hawks are on a 5 game winning streak. Let's stop their streak. Go Cats!

I noticed this too. Probably ever since the Grizzlies game. The pick and roll only seems to be crowding his space. Opposing teams seem content with getting the ball out of his hands to almost sarcastically make Mullens, Haywood, or the rookies to beat them offensively. I would like to see Dunlap using sets that involve screens away from the ball while at the same time giving Kemba the option of using isolation penetration the find the wing or rolling big coming off of it.

Kemba seems like a Russell Westbrook-like iron man. I think Coach D needs to play Sessions and Gordon a few more minutes to give Walker a breather, but Kemba is probably our most durable player. He's the only guy who escaped our mid-season injury crisis last year without missing a game. I'm not necessarily worried about Kemba getting hurt, but I'd rather see him give 30 minutes of 100% play rather than 20 minutes of 90% play and another 20 of him being completely gassed on the court.

If Biz is active I would like to see him meet Jeff Teague at the rim

This offense is so stagnant because there's no go-to scorer to run the offense through
